She is disgusting. I feel that Nate tried to be firm with her and slow down her BS, but in the end, i felt he was too kind and soon overwhelmed by her ridiculous nonsense. I suppose it would be hard to think of things to say with all her self-righteous blathering . I do respect Nate & he's done a wonderful job thru these years of Lori & Chad the serial killers.

Nate just isn't predatory enough to completely eviscerate LVD. He probably wanted the special, and at any time, LVD could have shut down, and there goes his special documentary.

Reminded me of Megyn Kelly, when she interviewed "Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar" about Josh Duggar molesting his sisters. She let them "tell their story". It was crazy to watch. I was literally yelling at the TV during the interview.

I love Nate. I think he deserved to get this interview and did a great job.

He got some great lines out of her that will ensure she never gets out on appeal.

She can't decide if this is the Lord's work or the fault of the justice system, whether she is willingly on this mission, and whether God told her to do something, or she didn't do it. IMO.

I cannot marry up real delusion with awareness, and have to disagree with the diagnosis of delusion. She has fake delusion-manipulation going on. IMO

Lori Daybell:

Reality

...there's defenses going on, there's all these things going on that you wish, like 'why can't we just go in and tell our side of the story? ...you thought they get to tell their side of the story what they think happened and you get to go in and tell your side of the story of what happened and then the jury gets to decide, and that's not what happens, that's not what happens at all, and it's so sad and disappointing that that's the way it is.

Fake delusion

I know God put me here for a purpose

Reality

Nate: Four juries have said you and Chad and Alex caused the tragedy...

Yeah, that's the judicial system.

Fake delusion

So in 2017 I was told by the Lord that I was going to become like Job and lose everything. Will I do this job and lose everything.

We were fore-ordained to do this mission right? Um the Lord is using Chad and I right now, and this is what he's told us, as instruments in his hands.

God put me here for this purpose, he needs somebody who's the life of the party, somebody who teaches the girls how to workout, somebody who teaches the girls how to have fun and dance and do all those things in this, the worst jail in the Country.

Reality

Nate: Why didn't you tell all this to the police? Why didn't you tell them all this when you were arrested, explain this to them?

Really? What happens to people when they say God told them to do something? They lock 'em up. I'm locked up.

[Ahem, God told you to do what Lori???]

So is it worth watching or will it only raise my blood pressure?

I watched half last night and will watch the rest. I thought Nate did what he could given she won’t shut up. She did the same with Keith Morrison.

Yes, the inner battle of the narcissist -- how to write yourself as the victim and the heroine in every sentence.

She's doing a lousy job of both.

40 minutes you can't get back. Surely you have better things to do with your time. Get a root canal, even if you don't need one. Watch Jerry Springer, for the relaxation of it.

She's a lot to take.

I thought Nate stood up to her and didn't back down and despite her rapid rate of talking her loony talk, succeeded in throwing some hard hitting questions at her even if he didn't get the answers we all want.
Nate's interview was much stronger than Keith Morrison's mild soft approach imo and LVD did not walk away feeling she got the better of him.
Nate, a long wait from Hawaii, but you finally got your day with her...

I refuse to give her that time. She's wasted enough of it over the years JMO

She managed to get in all her pet peeves, complaints about the jail system, police/judicial/media conspiracies against her and Chad (which completely explain their convictions), her almost dying while giving birth to Tylee, Tylee's pancreatitis and JJ's autism, not to mention her claim about Joe Ryan's abuse of the children. It's all a distraction, deflection and making herself the victim. At the same time she is on God's mission in jail/prison where she can do so much good for others. But she'll be out in less than 20 years, thanks to God. According to her, she has seven life sentences, exactly like the three Nephites, so she is in good company. She is writing in jail, imagining how her life story will turn into scripture one day. It all makes perfect sense in her brain.

There were eight people present in the room during the interview, including Nate's wife, who acted as a producer. She will give her account on Courtroom Insider tonight. Also a short unseen clip of Lori's interaction with Nate during a 90 second break will be shown.

It was Lori who asked to be interviewed by Nate and she made a list of topics she wanted to discuss.

She mentioned Chad's SIL Heather twice, apparently blaming her for going to police and the media, which started the case/conspiracy rolling. I doubt Lori ever met her; no doubt Chad was quick to make her a scapegoat.

Oh and this was new to me. She said Tylee died two days before her 17th birthday. That date would have been September 22nd, the date JJ was last seen alive.

That date was the Sunday of the weekend MelG and DavidW stayed at Lori's until Monday morning.

Clearly nonsense but she seems to be admitting JJ was killed before midnight on 22nd.

Colby is going on @NateNewsNow tonight to discuss Nate's interview with LVD.

I'm watching Colby's commentary of Nate's interview with Lori. He went in with low expectations. Colby is spot on with his reactions and calls her out on her ridiculous claims (like the one that the state paid an expert a million dollars to testify against her).

Glad to hear there's a lot of blow-back to Nate having given LD a spewing platform.

I assume that even after shutting it down after 5 mins LD remained glowing, exuberant hearing her own voice throughout.
IMO
