Like most here, I’m disappointed Melani hasn’t been handcuffed, thrown in jail and put on trial for her part in the conspiracy. She was a key player and definitely belongs in a prison cell like her beloved Aunt Lori.

Why was she not subpoenaed to testify in this trial? I have no doubt Lori would have gleefully thrown Melani under the bus and I would have found that very entertaining.

I hate to say it but IMO Melani won’t be charged.

Feeling second hand exhaustion for the police. Melani was so crazed and deluded at that time. She's so worried about her children's safety with Brandon, meanwhile she's driving around with and living next to child killers. And she's lying again to the police, claiming to live in AZ when she had already moved. And Brandon said she'd been accusing him of faking the shooting. Maybe she has since been "deprogrammed" and is okay now. But she said very publicly a lot of her slander against Brandon and against anyone who accused Lori. She needs to apologize for all of it publicly.

I wonder if she really saw Brandon as a zombie. Her accepting that two of her children were possessed was crazy but probably in line with her belief about Tylee and JJ. Lori convinced her that there was satanic symbolism in normal children's behavior. To her Chad and Lori held all the answers and she was defending Alex long after the case became public. Her reaction to the children's bodies being found was not normal.
Wasn't she already with Ian when the video was taken? He claims that he knew nothing until she dumped the information on him on their wedding night (two weeks after the video). She later forgave him for spying on her for the FBI. Did Lori and Chad know that? Ian was covering for her in most of her interviews. I can't imagine how she got deprogrammed with enablers around her.
