I'm betting that they forced her to see a jailhouse doctor or nurse and that they found nothing wrong with her and that her vitals were just fine. This was all just Lori trying to delay her trial because it wasn't going well for her.

She may have felt a little congested, I mean, I feel slightly congested 75% of the time.

But for her, we all know it was an excuse to delay the proceedings.

Stage IV head cold. She's couldn't walk.

Theatrics much?

So glad the Judge handled her as he did.

I get allergies/asthma and was congested walking into the doctor's office. She checked my lungs and they were clear!

Nate has LD's latest filing.

It's one of her crazier ones. At the bottom of the first page she refers to "Newton's first law (Strickland)." Too funny. Maybe she asked AI to write this? Strickland might accidentally be fitting though because that's the standard for determining ineffective assistance of counsel.

She also seems to be saying she was misdiagnosed with a UTI, but doesn't say what she had. I would like to see the state's response, but I guess we'll see the upshot in the ruling.

She did file something else though. I can just get the first page from the site. It's a request to deny the state's response. lol

SBM. According to her past statements, she was also misdiagnosed as a murderess. Lori is both a lawyer and a doctor nowadays.

LoriGPT. Artificial intelligence is a good way to describe Lori. On full display -- the fake kind of intelligence, not the smart kind. Page after page after page.

She really seems to think she has a right to be believed.

Maybe she ought to try the right to remain silent.

Please.

Why on earth would the judge be the one to order antibiotics?

The standard treatment for Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) is antibiotics. There is an over the counter medication (in the US) named phenazopyridine (with several trade names) which will help with the pain and discomfort symptoms of a UTI but not eliminate the underlying cause, which takes the specific antibiotic for the cultured pathogen.

If the medical practitioner diagnosed a UTI in Vallow based on a urine sample, and prescribed antibiotics and the painkiller, I could see Vallow refusing to take the treatment to render her fit for trial. Hence, the requirement for the judge to order that she take the treatment. Vallow probably though she should be able to sit in her jail cell and drink copious quantities of cranberry juice. Anecdotally, making the urine very acid by drinking cranberry juice can nip an infection that is just starting.

I am not a doctor, but have had a fair number of UTI's with subsequent treatment. I keep a stash of phenazopyridine on hand to treat the symptoms until I can get to the clinic and get the appropriate antibiotic.

Correction to what I said. This was actually a response to the state's motion to file their response under seal. So she is objecting to the response being sealed. So strange. Why would she care?

And the state has filed a response to this filing already.

How do you get misdisagnosed with a UTI??? And what does physics have to do with it?

Except that UTI's actually CAN be diagnosed, and treated with antibiotics. One dose of antibiotics and she'd be good to go for court.

Cranberry Juice won't cut it. Look into Uqora products that CVS sells, They are over the counter.

I'm gathering that Ms. Daybell may have refused treatment/medication/antibiotics, preferring instead to self-treat and not get out of bed, thinking she'd just call in sick to court.

Judge, not moved.

Can you imagine having to be the judge and put an extra filter between what you want to say and what you do say????

Dang. That's a tough job, Lori is a handful.

Thanks for making sense because how it was written by NE made no sense.

This is page 1 of the state's 7/13 reply. Poor prosecutor and judge always trying to make sense of her mad scribblings. And she provides no proof for any of her claims. Like about the misdiagnosis. She just asserts it and expects it to be accepted by the judge as true.

And once again, my deepest sympathy to the UTI. What a horrible place to be.
