ETA: Chad has his daughter to facilitate the release of his letters. It is too bad that Emma has not used the absence of her father to question whether he acted in the best interests of herself and other members of the family, rather than entirely in his own interest at the cost of theirs.

I don't see Lori having someone who will serve the same role for her, except possibly Emma if her father asks her to.

I only read part of the first of Chad's letters addressed to the public and I want to throw up. Acting all innocent, without a hint of accountability, he is gaslighting the reader in the same way he brainwashed his family. He asks us right away not to believe the official facts, but rather his own version, because he's such a quiet and gentle guy who wouldn't hurt a fly. This only worked on his followers for a short while in the past. His (and Lori's) public messaging might sway some very naive people, though I can't see him leading his cult from prison. Psychologists will have a field day further analyzing this narcissist.

I made it through one letter. And I'm sorry I read even that much. Wow, is he full of himself.

I'm not sure I can forgive you, @Tricia, for linking these, without providing airline barf bags. Your saving grace, I haven't read farther into his timeline. Prolly How He Fell in Lust with Lori, which I'm sure he'll get to. Thanks be to God, there are no photographs.

Against my better judgement, I was curious so I read further. Chad has book and music recommendations for us. The second Chad's letter is just gaslighting about Tammy's poor health, which "very few people knew about". How convenient.

Lori did not involve beliefs in her explanation, apart for the addition that she is in communication with her victims, claiming she has their approval. She threw in an NDE to gain sympathy for herself. Chad blamed Tammy's poor health for her death. How will he excuse JJ and Tylee being buried in his back yard? I expect him to continue playing dumb about it. How are his NDEs relevant for explaining the three murders? Is he only interested in restoring his reputation as a prophet and an LDS church member? He denies being a murderer or taking a detour from the mainstream religion.

Poor health??? Hadn't she just run a marathon?? Her poor health was because she was most likely poisoned, that'll put anyone in poor health.
