When I see this picture , with the curly ringlets, I am reminded of the Wicked Witch of the West from the movie The Wizard of Oz. All that is missing is the pointy hat, costume and . . . of course, the broom!

It’s hard to imagine how horrifying it must have been for this coroner to work on this case. My heart goes out to her on the advent of the second trial.

Oh God, I just had a horrible thought- Lori making friends in an Arizona prison with Jodi Arias. Birds of a feather.
LV is at Estrella for now, and isn’t Arias at Perryville? Yep, otherwise a dreadful thought.

Provided Lori gets convicted in Charles's death, does she serve her time in AZ first, or Idaho?

5/17/23: Order (023) entered by Court. Order (SDO) to seal documents. Note: Order filing State's Motion for permission to unseal indictment. Court site updated criminal charges to: 1st degree premeditated murder. 7/31/23: Maricopa County attorney Rachel Mitchel says she plans to get a Governor's requisition for extradition to face 2 more charges. The requisition eliminates time constraints for how long Vallow can be in Maricopa County custody. It could take 90–120 days to extradite Vallow.
8/9/23 Update: MCAO says paperwork for Vallow's extradition from Idaho to Arizona has been sent to Governor Hobbs on 8/9/23. Once requisition is signed, it will take 3-6 months for her to extradited for the murder conspiracy charges linked to Charles Vallow & Brandon Boudeaux.
8/16/23 Update: Staff for Governor Hobbs confirms that extradition request for Vallow has been signed & sent back to State of Idaho.
10/23/23 Update: Gov. Brad Little has signed an executive agreement to extradite Lori Vallow Daybell to Arizona on conspiracy to commit murder charges. Little signed the three-page document Monday, which was sent to him by Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs on Sept. 13, 2023. Daybell faces two conspiracy to commit murder charges for the death of her fourth husband, Charles Vallow & the attempt on the life of her former nephew-in-law Brandon Boudreaux. As far as the details of Daybell being moved to Arizona, the Idaho Department of Correction does not release information about the movement of residents before the movement occurs. Daybell remained incarcerated in Pocatello as of Wednesday afternoon, 10/25/23. If found guilty of the conspiracy charges in Arizona, Daybell could face a life sentence. She also faces a life sentence in Idaho. She will be moved back to Pocatello for the remainder of her life.
11/30/23 Update: Daybell has been booked into a Maricopa County jail, according to Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office records. Vallow Daybell arrived in Maricopa County from Idaho overnight & was booked into jail on 1 count of first-degree murder & 1 count 1st degree murder premeditated charges early Thursday morning, officials say. Vallow Daybell made her initial appearance in front of a Maricopa County judge early Thursday morning. During the appearance, she inquired about how the two cases would be handled, how many attorneys would be appointed, and when she would be able to speak with them. Maricopa County Sheriff Paul Penzone said Thursday that while Vallow Daybell is in their custody, she will be kept in high security isolation because it is a high-profile case. Her next court appearance is set to take place on 12/7/23 for arraignment hearing for both cases. If the defendant appears at the next hearing without a lawyer, the hearing may still proceed as scheduled. 11/30/23 Update: Order to seal documents (IA packet). Release Order/Order regarding Counsel (IA release Order). Motion to seal Form IV. 12/1/23 Update: Warrant served on both cases. 12/1/23 Update: On 11/2/23 Vallow has waived her right to reduce the life sentences handed down by Judge Steven Boyce. Rule 35 in Idaho is known as the plea for leniency. Defendant understands that her appeal will still be pursued by her appellate lawyer.

12/4/23 Update: Vallow's appointed public defender is Keith Terry. Initial pretrial conference on 1/18/24 @ 8:15am, Comprehensive pretrial conference hearing on 2/21/24 @ 8:30am, pretrial conference hearing on 3/28/24 @ 8:30am & trial is scheduled for 4/4/24 @ 9am but that can change.
ID – Vallow found guilty of all charges & sentenced to 3 consecutive life sentences without parole on 7/31/23.

It's still unclear (at least as of the time of this article).

I did some research to see what to expect at an arraignment hearing in AZ (quoted from HERE)
An arraignment is held within ten days after the filing of an indictment or direct complaint, unless the defendant has not been arrested or has negotiated a plea agreement at the status conference. The arraignment hearing serves several purposes:
 • The defendant is informed of the exact charge(s) against him/her.
 • The defendant is advised that he/she should have an attorney and if he/she cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided at public expense.
 • The defendant is asked to enter a plea to the charge(s).
 • A pretrial conference and a trial date are set.
Defendants are entitled to a speedy trial (Rule 8; Arizona Rules of Criminal Procedure). If the defendant remains in custody, a trial date must be set within 120 days from the initial appearance. Defendants released from custody on bail or on their own recognizance (OR) must receive a trial date within 150 days from initial appearance. In extraordinary circumstances, the trial may occur later than these time frames.

If the defendant intends to contest the charges presented at the preliminary hearing, the arraignment is known as a not guilty arraignment. If a defendant intends to plead guilty, the preliminary hearing is waived and a guilty arraignment is scheduled in Superior Court. The defendant can either plead "straight to the charges," or enter into a plea agreement. Upon accepting the plea, the Court will set a date for sentencing.

NEW: Trial date set for #LoriVallow in Arizona for April 4, 2024. However, state will file a motion to move that date as this is first-degree murder case/complex. #LoriDaybell

Chad and Lori's romantic fantasy of being Apocalypse royalty ended so many innocent lives. Terrible.

She could also get a 2nd conviction for conspiring to kill her niece's ex-husband, Brandon Boudreaux.

Once the cases play out in Maricopa County, she'll have to go back to Idaho to continue serving her life sentences.

IF the April 4, 2024 trial date stands, #LoriVallow and #ChadDaybell would be on the trial at the same time, but it seems highly likely Lori's trial date will change.
