Definitely want to know the conflict.I wish they had to cite the reason for withdrawal. I would love to know what the conflict of interest is.
Does this mean they’re doing the mental health review yo determine if she’s fit to represent herself? I guess the answer to that is patently obvious, but the law requires certain procedures be followed? And today’s filing by the Court now indicates that Lori had requested back on 10/16 to waive her right to counsel and sought to represent herself.
The Court wrote that they’re deferring that decision until after the examination under Rule 11 occurs.
I believe all of the specifics for her previous attorneys’ request for the examination are only known to the Court (not to us in the public), but I would guess based on the timing of her request it may be something she’s asked about as part of that examination…like if/why she feels she is better off representing herself than any attorney, etc.Does this mean they’re doing the mental health review yo determine if she’s fit to represent herself? There is no way this is going to happen. For one, I don't see a goddess conforming to the rules that govern a courtroom.
I wonder who Kay is referring to? Lori's ex-friends and cult members MG and ZP? What about her niece? Can you imagine her questioning the detectives?
