She has always used Jesus as her excuse. Even before the murders other cult members like MG bought her claims that she had met Jesus in the flesh. At her Idaho trial she mentioned that Jesus was on her side.

IMO she knows she has nothing left to lose, so she is putting on a show of defiance. She wants to make it look like she is the one in control of the conversation.

Scary. Of course I knew she was incredibly evil to kill her children( or permit them to be killed ) but it seemed hidden on her face until now. She looked so Barbie-doll innocent before. Suddenly she actually looks truly horribly evil. Poor children. Thank God ,literally , for justice. The police did a great ,methodical , thorough job. Just when I was beginning to give up all hope she’d ever be arrested ,watching her dance on the beach ,and tan poolside in Hawaii, they were busy behind the scenes gathering slam dunk evidence.
