Police located the biological mom in a state in the eastern US.

There is still major doubt in the 'adoptive' mom's story. Police don't know even if she is legally trying to adopt the child.

Lots of holes.

Now the adoptive mom is claiming she had a 'bad feeling' about a Mexican man that was in the campground across from them. He had been watching them all day.

She said she think the baby was kidnapped.

This news station had the exclusive interview with the adoptive mom. I'm not sure if they have it online but it's worth seeing if so.

See my earlier post and link to the sister's FB page. She posted she was going to Mexico July 4th weekend... then posted on July 6th she was back and her trip was cut short by 2 days and she was babysitting someone on that day as a favor.

So is this Mexican man who allegedly was "watching them" going to morph into someone who followed her back from her trip, and has now taken Syler? I wonder when this man left the campground, and hopefully it was hours before Syler went missing, or better yet, he's still there ~ alone. MOO

Mexican man sounds like a bushy haired stranger scenario to me right about now...I don't know why...but it doesn't sit will with me.

JMHO.

What ages are the older children?
Does anyone know what the sleeping arrangements in the tent were? Was there a clear path to an exit for Syler or would he have to crawl over other people?
Was the opening closed up when they laid down? (zipped/tied)
When the woman woke up to find him missing, was the opening open or still closed up?
How easy was it for her to see Syler was missing?

If something bad had happened after 9:30 and this is all a cover-up, making the alarm when they did doesn't sound right, if I was wanting to cover things up I would wait until more hours had passed, they could easily have waited until early morning, that would allow someone snatching him having more of a getaway and give someone more time to clean up.

That's what I'm wondering... perhaps it was all planned a while back to make an exchange and the alleged trip to Mexico was a cover up??? I just hope LE is covering the travel details and past phone records... Smiles I'm sure they are. This has hit national headlines now and they know to be diligent.

All IMO.

At this particular campground it is private. There are only 13 sites in which to camp (from media report).

Since it is private what type of registration for entry and to camp would the owners request I wonder?

When LE got the subpoena's last night I would imagine they would supoena any of those records as well.

I am seeing reports that LE did interview everyone at that campsite before releasing them (numbered at about 25 people in media reports).

Has anyone been to a private campground that could give me insight as to what information they might have needed to camp there? (the owners of the campground from the respective campers).

OK, Now all of a sudden there is a Mexican man watching them all day. Would that not be the first reason to leave or sleep in the same tent as your kids and your Mother? I would never leave my kids alone if I saw that. Please! Another thing why would you let him sleep in a diaper only? No shirt? How hot or cold was it there. I know since I have been on WS I am totally aware of my surroundings, and my kids think I am a freak. My grandson won't go down the hall at night unless we go with him. I Mom is not convincing me.

So far I can't find one thing for a presser....

Sounds to me like if adoptive mom is responsible then she may have had somebody come to the campground in the middle of the night and passed Skylar off to that person.

One more thing. You wake up conveniently an hour later, but no one hears the baby go out of the tent. The baby doesn't cry cuz he want's his mom and he's scared? Bizaar!

Kat I don't believe it is private, I think they mean private in a sense that is small and quiet. Here is a link about the campground, I do believe there is a host for the campground though cant remember where I read that :waitasec::

ETA: ROTFLMAO ....I read about the host off of this site ...oh, perhaps it is time for sleep ...... :)

Found this. NOTE: This doesn't say how close this would be to the campground that Sylar was staying at but gives you an idea of the surrounding area possibly.

There are other video's available but they have people and children in them and I just chose this one because there are none.

Made me miss the SW.

That was also one of my first thoughts. If he'd wandered off, he'd be afraid of the dark, be lost, fall down or hurt his feet and start crying. Yet no one hears him? MOO

Thanks! I was also going by what the adoptive mother's sister said, so assumed there was some chance he drowned.

"She said she fears that Syler is "somewhere along the water." The campgrounds sit on the banks of the Wet Beaver Creek.

"That's why I'm really, really scared, because he's always loved the water," she said."

http://www.cnn.com/2010/US/07/26/arizona.missing.toddler/

"loved" as in past tense? I'm sorry something ain't right about this at all. First of all why would u go camping in a campground that is so primative? Maybe its just me...I just wouldn't go camping with a toddler...just too much can go wrong. I have had an icky feeling abou this since it started. If she knows he loves the water so much then why camp near a creek, why have your toddler in the same tent with younger siblings instead of you? Is it possible that there is some kind of issue with the bio mom that maybe they planned to have him taken away so as not to lose him to the bio mom? Does that make sense? Its been a long day.

EXACTLY!!!!! Thank You!!! I just find it hard to believe he got out and wandered off and no sound at all..just doesn't seem possible. My 4 year old is a little wobbly if he wakes up at nite, cries, calls out, not oriented very well...just sayin.

Actually I was being sarcastic and don't believe the Mexican man (if he exists) had anything to do with Syler's disappearance. As someone else suggested, if there was any fear of him watching them during the day, why would the children be sleeping apart from the adults in another tent? MOO
