What has it been, over six months since this little boy was killed? Someone needs to be charged.

bumping for Sylar

I have took a little break from this case but looked at his innocent picture today and thought I would come here to see if there are any updates. Naturally I knew there wouldn't be. I am guessing the 2 monsters are still in jail but that's about it. I still can't imagine what these two did to that sweet baby. It makes me sick to even think about it. Hopefully whenever the justice system gets it head out of its 🤬🤬🤬 then justice will be served.:banghead:

This is going to be a long process. I'm settling in though and I will follow with everyone else here until the sentence has been handed down to both women.

But it just makes me tired sometimes how long it takes KWIM?

Justice for Sylar.

definitely a bit off topic -- but I have found nothing online that indicates a proper burial for Sylar has ever occurred -- anyone find anything?

Westcott still shows as pending.

I couldn't find a confirmation either. Maybe whats-her-name is still holding out for the 5K headstone!

Why hasn't this precious baby been laid to rest yet? He departed our world on Jul. 25, 2010.

I'm just shocked!

I followed this case very closely for the longest time. I decided to take a look at what's been going on today and I am appalled that this child hasn't been laid to rest. I don't understand why his remains haven't been released. What could the ME possibly be holding the remains for? They did DNA and toxicology. I just don't get it.

The remains have been released. (Or were "being released" on March 17.)

The funeral has been paid for by donations. (Unless they were spent on something else.)

Charity was offered the entire thing in the very beginning... the funeral home, the casket or urn, the burial, the headstone... and a place for the family to stay while they were in town.... all 100% free.

She turned it down because it was not the location she wanted and the headstone wasn't good enough for her.

I do not know what the hold up is but I'd bet it has to do with *me* *me* *me*.

IMHO, Charity is the last person who should hold up this funeral. Before you know it, she'll be putting up a cage around the plot (if she ever gets around to it). There was a case about that awhile back - forgot the childs name.

Anyway, Charity-I-Gave-My-Baby-Away-Newton shouldn't receive a dime, and let the funeral home lay Sylar to rest.

Bless his heart!

I was just thinking about this poor little child. Appalled that he has not (to the best of our knowledge) been laid to rest yet. He has not been treated well either in life or death.

Wth?!! Why has this not been taken care of? Is there nobody who is willing to advocate for this child even in death?

This is despicable.

I guess one of us is going to have to contact one of the reporters that covered for Sylar and ask them why he hasn't been buried yet :(

  • #418
You're right, Kat. Remind me on Friday if no one else is able. (tomorrow's kinda crazy)

  • #419
It's been kind of crazy here for me too. I haven't had time to go dig for an email addy to find a reporter. If one of us doesn't get to it this week. I'll definately make time on next Monday mmm. :)
