Why can't the general public access the Apache County released records that the media teases us with. Is The Freedom of Information Act only for the card carrying media? I don't know the answer.
If anyone knows a site where the original records can be seen you'd make an old man happy by passing on the info.

THE PLEA offered by the prosecution and the defense's delay looks like a case of "One's scared and the other is glad of it."

Will this kid walk?

  • #168
Hi
No.I do not think he will walk.I feel everyone probably does feel this little boy needs therapy and help.I am very curious if there was abuse done to this little boy.I do think Judge Roca will be a very fair judge.

My only point is that if the item shown in the crime scene photos is a dog collar it might fit a brama bull, or perhaps a grown horse, but not any dog that we know of.

Hi
I think it is a belt.Yes,probably a fairly large dog.LOL.

Since we agree it is a belt, why is it on the lower stairs? Was it about to be used?

Hi
I would like to know that also. There was a casing or two near it.I just thought that was interesting.

With regard to the "eight months"...I believe that juvenile law in Az requires that the mental competency of the juvenile be upgraded WITHIN 8 months (for the child to be able to stand trial) or else the judge MUST drop the charges. I don't believe the DA is actually offering an 8 month sentence.

Eight months IMO isn't going to be enough time to upgrade this boy for a trial. IMO there are serious problems. It could take years.

Is the bio mother going to return to Mississippi? She must have ties there, a job? Certainly, the judge isn't going to let the boy go there.

The state knows it can not sucessfully prosecute young Romero. The evidence is weak. They know that this 8 year old could not have killed the victims in the matter they have presented. A very slow loading weapon, premeditation, the shooter not knowing if the two grown men would enter the home at the same time, or even if they would arrive home at a usual time, or stop at the bar. Romero shot from behind, Romans being shot three times from the front (each shot requiring a six second time span between shots), making up an alibi of loafing around, being cool during an interogation.

The state of Arizona is between a rock and a hard place.

The kid walks.

Hi
All I'm trying to say is if there are serious mental problems with this boy what led up to it.Why and how did this little boy get to the behaviors he was having. What caused it.

Children learn what they live

If children live with hostility,
they learn to fight.
If children live with ridicule,
they learn to be shy.
If children live with tolerance,
they learn to be patient.
If children live with encouragement,
they learn confidence.
If children live with praise,
they learn to appreciate.
If children live with fairness,
they learn justice.
If children live with security,
they learn faith.
If children live with approval,
they learn to like themselves.
If children live with acceptance, and friendship,
they learn to find love in the world.

This kid will not walk.

And 36 seconds is plenty of time.

If children live in fear natural preservation leads them.

The kid walks.
36 seconds is plenty of time to cover your head, or run. It's too long to stand still and be murdered.

Why would Vincent Romero have a known drug user living in his home with his son and if tim romans was proposing to another woman and getting a divorce this kind of changes his image as a devoted family man. His wife said he was the sole support of the family. Was Romero a close friend of Romans? Did Romans upset the dynamics of the household? There is so much we don't know. It's a rush to judgement.

Isn't it a rush to judgment on the dad and Tim too? We have no facts as to when Tim used drugs. It could have been recently or it could have been years ago. We don't know anything about Tim and his wife's relationship, if they were getting a divorce or if they had been seperated for ages. I notice that his wife didn't tear him to pieces in the media. As far as I can see Tim was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and he ended up losing his life because of it. If the dad was to strict with the boy I don't see how that has anything to do with Tim. We don't even know how long Tim had been living with the dad and his family. Could have been a week or a year. I don't think that we know enough about either of these men to judge them harshly right now. They are victims of this crime but are being made to be the opposite.

It's interesting that people on different forums are tearing these men apart while the citizens of the town they lived in feel totally different. The people that actually knew these men aren't trashing them at all while people who had never even met them are throwing them to the wolves, just know that they must have been horribly abusive to the little boy and therefore brought about their own murders. How can strangers know so much about these two men when the people who knew them have nothing but kind words for them?

I agree Bob.
The issue is did this little boy do the dirty deed.
But the background of the victims is crucial to the discussion.
