Baby Lisa's Mom Calls KMBC's Kris Ketz

Okay, I have no idea where you got the impression that false confessions are produced by slamming your fists and yelling at a person. I certainly never said that. False confessions are produced by an over use of the psychological bag of tricks known as the Reid technique. There's a clear example of it in the questioning of Michael Crowe, nobody slammed their fists and yelled at him. If a cop starts slamming their fists and yelling at someone they're far more likely to find themselves faced with a suspect who closes down and demands an attorney than a confession.

And the reason I keep saying that we need to be careful about our accusations is because that is my honest opinion. She might be guilty, she might be innocent. If she is innocent I wouldn't like to be responsible for loading more heartache onto the mother of a missing child. And if she's guilty, I wouldn't like to be responsible for hindering the local police by inserting myself into the enquiry in a way that closed her down.

I really dislike the term "pro-DB people". Is it possible to not use that term on this forum? Some of us are honestly (really) not sure what happened and who is guily and who is innocent. Just because I don't want to bash Deborah or Jeremy or anyone else, for that matter, does not make me "pro-DB". I'm "pro-finding Lisa" and "pro-finding the truth, whatever that truth may be" and "pro-justice for whomever is responsible".

To be completely honest, I don't particularly like DB at all from the little I know about her, but I am extremely aware of the fact that she and Jeremy still have 2 young sons in their custody and these 2 boys will someday read about their sister's case no matter what the outcome is. I don't want to bash their parents publicly, but that doesn't make me a "hugger" or whatever it is called.

@Norest4thewicked

I'm afraid I don't get what you're saying. I'm just expressing my opinion, and I fully realise that you and others are entitled to hold and express differing opinions. I've said so in previous posts, so I'm sorry but I seem to be missing something. I just don't get why you're offended.

Let me put this bluntly - Deborah Bradley may have done something to her child. That is everybody's business, because obviously the child is not here to speak up for herself. But Deborah Bradley could also be the victim of a bizarre and tragic coincidence, like the man I spoke about in the post above, or like Michael Crowe and like many others. I just don't know, and for that reason I think everybody who makes it their business to speak up for Lisa Irwin should be careful. Justice for Lisa should be our only concern here, not our own opinions or our right to freedom of speech or our personal admiration, (or distrust), of police officers, or any other selfish concern.

Does that make sense?

Well, I think one thing we can all agree on is that we'd love to see that sweet little girl found, alive and well, right?

We have so many wonderful, intelligent people here. We may not always agree with each other, but we can still be friends and respect each other. :grouphug:

I would throw a party to celebrate if Lisa Irwin was found alive. I would do anything possible to even find the more tragic outcome to her disappearance, and find justice against whoever did it to her.

But like any regular poster on this forum, I know enough about missing child cases to know this - sometimes the only way to get true justice for a victim is to leave the case open and wait.

It seems like there are a lot more cases on WS where we are waiting for them to make an arrest, than cases where it's currently progressing through the trial system.

Please stop any kind of personal posting back and forth, and move on.

This thread is to reference posters that are posting as experts in certain areas, such as law ,psychology,LE, and we even have a resident chemist. This also applies to those that claim to be insiders to a case.

Basically if any information from a particular poster is to be given more weight based on the fact that they claim to have special knowledge in any one area, we need to confirm it for the posting membership.
