Okay, I have no idea where you got the impression that false confessions are produced by slamming your fists and yelling at a person. I certainly never said that. False confessions are produced by an over use of the psychological bag of tricks known as the Reid technique. There's a clear example of it in the questioning of Michael Crowe, nobody slammed their fists and yelled at him. If a cop starts slamming their fists and yelling at someone they're far more likely to find themselves faced with a suspect who closes down and demands an attorney than a confession.
And the reason I keep saying that we need to be careful about our accusations is because that is my honest opinion. She might be guilty, she might be innocent. If she is innocent I wouldn't like to be responsible for loading more heartache onto the mother of a missing child. And if she's guilty, I wouldn't like to be responsible for hindering the local police by inserting myself into the enquiry in a way that closed her down.
