I will be surprised if the defense brings on "all these people who say she was a great mother" in the guilt phase. It would open up way too big a door for the prosecution.

Do you guys really want more? Do you want the commentary? Since the only way I will know you want it, is to do the click thanks to this post - we shall do it that way again! If I get 12.5 thanks, I will upload more! LOL

Huh? I'm drawing a blank. JS denied the gag order. I can't remember anything like that JP ordered. What did this motion pertain to?

HHJP asked everyone during the hearings not to discuss the testimonies that were being given. This was last month and may have been about the motions regarding not letting KC's statements in. This was when CA, GA, Yuri were all testifying. Not sure it pertains to the Frye hearings and those continue tomorrow. But this motion has nothing to do with Frye. Dr. Furton was asked by SA if he had watched Dr. Vass' testimony so it is possible it still applies from here on out as far as anyone testifying at these hearings.

Am I missing something here? Didn't JB just admit in open court that his client is a liar. So much so that when the detective interviewing her asked her for help in finding her missing child, KC lied to that officer. What would make JB think she would ever, ever be telling the truth now. No matter how warm and fuzzy he feels about her, KC is not credible. If you'd lie to police about having a job, you'd lie about what color underwear you were wearing. She has had a lot of time to perfect her poor me story. jmo

Admitting to lying is the least of their worries. Better in fact to admit that than murder of her child.

You bring up a good point....this all seems SO STRANGE....

But thinking further about this, now I wonder if there is ANY possibility that this Curtis Jackson has been exchanging written correspondence with KC as well....he has written correspondence to the court on two previous occasions, so I don't think it would be a stretch to believe he would also initiate contact with KC.
Keeping KC's correspondence with other inmates in mind (and the "stories" she told them), I wonder if she has been engaging in written conversations with him about baez, which then prompted HIM to file the motion on HER behalf (due to his obvious "mental state")..

If I recall, when I researched him previously, he was charged and found guilty of sending threatening letters through the mail system in a previous case?

IF there was correspondence between CJ and KC, woud the DT know?

Posted essentially the same thing at the crack of dawn this AM. If ICA did correspond with the Inmate from Michigan and gave her blessings (so to speak) for him to write and file a motion on her behalf and she did this by written form, then by all accounts this is a legal document???? There must be a hearing? Does the SA have copies of ICA's outgoing correspondance???

One thing I think I've concluded after all this is that Curtis Jackson appears to be a more competent "attorney" then Jose Baez... LOL... he's definitely much more skilled at writing motions then Baez is!

:rocker: I agree !

If I remember correctly when I saw In Session this morning, didn't Jean C this type of thing has happened before, and it happened on a case she was on with CM ? or did I hear wrong ... maybe NOT enough coffee when I heard that ? Please correct me if I heard that incorrectly.

In Session is VERY pro-Casey and pro-Anthony Family, along with their "sister station" HLN ... the only "host" on HLN that is absolutely certain that Casey murdered Caylee is NG :great:

I just can't wait to see this "Circus" end ...

Oh you heard correctly...it was the Nelson Serrano case in which Chaney Mason was co-council.

Another question I have is "Who paid for the filing?"

Are his comments to In Session this morning in violation of a "gag order" currently in place for this case?

There is no gag order. When it was considered, he fought it. How do you know JB is lying - his mouth moves :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

JMO

Oddly enough after Curtis Jacksons letter back in 2010...Mason called in to JVM to tell everyone that he was a nobody and that they have a file called the "nut file".

http://bullstopper.wordpress.com/2010/11/04/does-cheney-mason-fear-curtis-jackson/

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, Cheney, we want to thank you for coming on and again, you are invited anytime we discuss Casey Anthony. We want to be fair. Thank you so much for clarifying that. And again come back –

MASON: We appreciate you giving us the opportunity to tell our side. We`re kind of tired of everything veering the other way — not from you, but from others. I appreciate it.

This is literally a carbon copy of previous action.

Who do they think they are fooling???

I haven't read this thread yet, but will because it is soooooo interesting. However, from reading the first summary of JB's statement that we will know in the first minute of his opening statement........riiiiiiiiiight.
What the heck is he going to say? Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I represent a woman who's daughter accidently drowned, and she was too horrified to call for help because her parents were (as you will see) wack-a-doodle.
That does it for me. I'm sure each and every juror will be unable to convict her of a crime because it has just been explained in that succint, brilliant opening summary done by none other than........drum roll.......JB.
Can't wait for this one.

In Session is talking about it again. Coming up they are going to talk about how the "motion" got filed and blew up into a huge story.

There isn't ANYONE that can convince me that this was not planned. I'm not suggesting that the DT planned it with the "inmate"..... just that the events AFTER the filing were orchestrated somehow.

If they say anything new or if JB calls in again please write me via inner office mail so I can skip to that and upload it for those without InSession. Pretty please with a bottle of Pepto on top!

LOL i totally agree!
He's probably done his homework in the law department.

I also think KC has been talking to him and she maybe said she wanted JB OUT!

JMO

Jb says he decided a long time ago....

"If things get rough just sit down and practice law."

He is getting "choked up" talking about her. Jeez it's like he's defending a girlfriend that got called a bad name.

I wonder if he realizes what a lousy attorney he is? Not everyone is cut out to be an attorney and he is in that bunch for sure.

I thought he was going to start crying...pitiful. Poor Casey, she is so misunderstood by everyone. Yes, I'll bet ole Jose has been as close to Casey as Caylee ever was and ya know what I'm talking about! Why does he think spending time in Casey and Caylee's bedrooms tells him how close the two were??? He has some of the strangest ideas. And as far as explaining away Casey not calling 911 at all and them only getting called 31 days later when her family called 911. There is no explaination for heavens sake.

How many of KC's 20 something friends do you think will now get on the stand and say what a good mother she is? At 18, 19, 20 years of age most people do not know that much about raising children. Ask the same age group why they were friends with her while she was stealing them blind, lying to them about her job, college, etc. and see what type of answer you get. "We did not know she was like that. That's not the KC we knew." There you have it. Thieves do not always reveal themselves as thieves but as best friends. Murders do not run an ad in the Sunday paper. jmo
