It may be greasy, but I prefer it to Popeye's Chicken.

Me too. No comparison. KFC uses a pressure cooker that really seals in the flavor. And I love their mashed potatoes. But it's so bad for you!!!

I know!!! I ate it weekly in high school. Amazing that I don't have worse heart disease.

Oh, I know LinasK ... kazillions of people of all races and socio-economic backgrounds eat KFC. I am laughing at how ridiculous his statement was. And how he doesn't recognise that he was actually getting preferential treatment.

And I suspect that the intimate touching that Mack is speaking of is her doctor’s examination and tests for pregnancy/ectopic pregnancy. Perhaps she was also body-searched by a female officer prior to going into jail.

These two certainly are not reading Leeza Ormsby's playbook on how to get off a (drug) charge lightly.

And where the heck is her US lawyer? Still in Chicago? Last thing I read (a couple of days ago) was that he had not yet found an Indonesian lawyer who suited him, was flying to Indonesia, and he couldn’t get there fast enough .. or words to that effect. He could have been there many times over by now.
Most American prisoners would kill for fast food- KFC or McDonald's! They have no idea how spoiled they are. Wait 'till they have to survive on bugs, then see if they refuse fast food!

8/13/14: http://nypost.com/2014/08/13/american-tourists-body-found-stuffed-inside-suitcase-at-resort/

... surveillance footage revealed that the couple removed the suitcase from the room Sheila Mack was sharing with her daughter, cops said. ...

* * *

So ... the large metal suitcase may have been SWM's ... assault happened in TS' room, then some time later the couple may have retrieved that large metal suitcase from SWM's room and wheeled/carried it to TS' room and that was caught on surveillance footage

I highly doubt TS the boyfriend has family or friends with enough money to help him out of this jam. Wondering if Heather the daughter had a trust fund set-up for when she turns a certain age? I did some online searches on inheritance laws and that "slayer rule". It's confusing. It may depend on if someone will challenge an inheritance.

It may take a long time to figure thi$ out. I don't believe they'll get to come back to the U.S. any time soon. They are in big, big firing squad trouble, IMO.

How is that attorney going to be paid? Who is going to put money in their prison accounts so they can eat lobster? Hope that oh-so-concerned attorney cranking out all the pity stories for the media, at least, sends her some water.

Police reports describe girl biting, punching mom found in suitcase
http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/...rl-biting-punching-mom-found-in-suitcase.html

My God! This girl reminds me of the movie "The Good Son"

What an evil, evil thing.

Von Wiese-Mack told police Heather Mack bit her. Repeatedly.

She claimed the girl punched her in her already broken ankle during an argument in January 2010 over household chores.

She accused Heather Mack of locking her in her room, preventing von Wiese-Mack from calling 911, and threatening to “stop leaving bruises” by hitting her widowed mother “in the head.”

Police did arrest Heather Mack after she allegedly pushed her mother in the chest, knocked her to the floor and broke her right arm in January 2011, records show.

This is all in her first week in prison.
Pace yourself with the lies, girl.
You're going to end up running out of baloney, too.

"Since Mack has been in Indonesian police custody, Elkin said she has been sexually assaulted at least three times; found mysterious needle marks on her body; complained she wasn’t getting enough water; and said police had given her “vitamin pills” she didn’t recognize."

Probably doesn't recognize those "lower class" cheap brand vitamins. :giggle:

bbm Precisely!!

The Indonesians are NOT going to be looking kindly upon her following all of these accusations.......and that doesn't bode well for her. As SouthAussie has posted, being polite and quiet and apologetic is THE way to go if you're locked up there.

She's just digging a deeper hole for herself......

How clever...Big Mack. :giggle:

You do write funny commercials. I keep wondering what the woman with the purse on her lap is thinking regarding this girl and her dramas. She's looking away as though she has no more patience with this spoiled American girl.

Big Mack: Heather Mack (with towel on head) is served McDonald's (right of picture) after complaining that KFC was based on a 'racist' assumption that she'd like fried chicken

Well, there's a commercial for McDonalds in the making .... "Rich-pregnant-spoiled-brat-and-murder-suspect eats McDonalds, while refusing KFC. Come try our burgers and fries .. towel over your head is optional"

Whats sad is that I think the Indonesian authorities are going out of their way to make these American brats feel comfortable. They know Americans may not be accustomed to daily Indonesian food. But in third world countries, fast food is an extravagance. So these two are scoffing at food that would be an unheard of luxury to most Indonesians. Gosh they are in for an incredibly rude awakening. The authorities are being nice now but once they are charged and worse, convicted? Those two are screwed.

He should shut his mouth. He's destroying her.

(Reuters) - Indonesian police said on Tuesday they have tested a U.S. teen, detained after the discovery of her mother's battered body in a suitcase in Bali, to see if she is pregnant and are awaiting the result.

Bali police spokesman Hery Wiyanto told Reuters Mack had told them she was pregnant, but police were not able to confirm this.

"We have done some tests but we have not received the result," he said. "It could be just something she says so she will be sent home."

But extradition to have the case heard in the United States was highly unlikely, the couple's Indonesian lawyer, Haposan Sihombing, said on Monday.

The couple have refused to speak to Sihombing, the lawyer said. They had hired a U.S. lawyer who Wiyanto said was due to arrive on Wednesday.

Sheila will be returned to the US early on Wednesday morning (our time) .... so in about 12 hours from now. This article says that the FBI agent has helped organise her return.

I hope that someone close who cares about her is there to receive her. :rose:

I'm sure that Sheila's friends hoped to hear her vacation stories when she got back, not organise her funeral. :(

Last week, the FBI sent an agent to Bali to coordinate with local police and help organise her return to the US, according to CBS news.

Dr Dudut Rustyadi, the forensic chief at Sanglah hospital morgue in Denpasar and police chiefs, along with the FBI agent, are currently meeting in Denpasar about the bizarre case.

“The body will be flown to the US on Wednesday early in the morning. We have to conduct the administrative process first before handing over the body,” Dr Rustyadi said.

Imagine being involved in the killing of your own mother when you're pregnant with your first child? How awful this reality. Sadly, I don't think this immature, selfish girl realizes how horrifying her crimes against the person who loved her the most or for the baby who will need that kind of motherly love.

I pray Sheila can rest in peace. She loved, forgave, and protected her own daughter, Heather, so unconditionally. I hope Sheila can find peace now.

I would hope that the step children of the victim have retained counsel so that this spoiled brat does not receive one penny of an inheritance.
