Is this the same guy that pretended to know her in that interview video with some people she went to school with and was more concerned about the fact that he was getting attention more than anything? Did you see how many comments were on their vines, instagrams and videos saying "Hey check out my video, etc." when the hits increased after they were arrested? People will attempt to get fame in any way they can...even if they have to hitch their wagon to a murderer...

Yeah - He may regret this one day in the near future - re: Prospective Employers doing a search on him.

I remember there was some confusion earlier, about whether Sheila gave birth to Heather, or adopted her. Was that ever clarified?

I am very curious because I am trying to understand the relationship dynamics.

She was not adopted, Sheila was her birth mother.

Kamille...good catch. Sick way to cash in for so-called fame. Noticed that HM didn't include this in her mass collection of vines. In her vines, she captures her own charm, parties and good times, but not mom's. Mom is always caught on these Vines in an unflattering moment...cursing or drinking or getting a chiropractic adjustment. It's almost like Heather documents Sheila's "bad" behavior on Vine, while Sheila uses 9-1-1 police reports to document Heather's violent outbursts. So very sad for them both.

Yes, this wasn't a very nice crowd she was running with and her behavior was just as bad. Looks like vonmar himself was arrested back in May and again last night according to the twitter tag #freevonmar. And a reporter from the Chicago Sun times was leaving messages on some of HM's contacts on twitter asking them to call her. I guess no one has? Haven't seen a big story about her running with rappers and thugs on the streets of downtown Chicago. Lol

And what's that "Squadddd....put em in a coffin" supposed to mean? They say it and then fall backward with their arms crossed over their chests. They do it in public places like stores and wreck displays, saw one on the hood of a car and they were doing it in that hotel room. You're absolutely correct though. Didn't see any of this behavior posted by Heather on her Vine. Just cutesy stuff on her and bad moments of her Mom. Is her Vine deleted now?

No but he is one of her contacts on twitter who was contacted by the Chicago Sun Times reporter and is a friend of the others so I guess he is the only one who called her back.

Which of those vines has HM in handcuffs? I'm too impatient to watch them all. Who is in the preview box? Thanks.

I believe it's squad. :floorlaugh:

But looking through all these social media accounts of the crowd she was running with, I can't see how she and her mother could have ever gotten along. If she associated herself with black gangsta rappers, considered herself one of them, what common ground did she have with someone like Sheila?

Is there a link to these vines?

I hope I don't say anything wrong here, but I have wondered whether Heather had some identity issues with being a child of mixed race, almost like she didn't know where she belonged ... and whether part of rejecting her mother and all she stood for meant embracing what she perceived to be black culture in America.

Otto. I think you hit it right on the money. I am an American person of color and know for a fact that some youth of African descent are constantly challenging peers, esp. insecure cool-wanna-be's, about whether they're really "black enough," or just an "Oreo..." Black on the outside, yet White on the inside. This form of bullying has been going on for a looong time. So I can see Heather, who hated her mom, identifying with the most bad-azz Blacks she could find. Too bad she didn't know or identify with more people like my family or friends...or her own half siblings.

Heather Mack vines are here:

Unlike what I previously said, she actually does include the downtown Chicago Hotel arrest Vine. Maybe she was proud of it to show she was a "down sista."

I think "squadd" is a special group, team, community, etc. Also guessing from Google that "put em in a coffin" is a social trend in response to any haters or critics...it's actually acting out what they wish for their detractors. Nice, huh?
