Bankrupt Casey Anthony interviewed by KPHO CBS in Phoenix #2

If that's the game she wants to play, then the Trustee should go back and solicit sealed bids for her life story. I bet Radar/TMZ or National Enquirer's bids would be hefty. When the best bid has been revealed, that is the amount she can buy it back for.... but I won't hold my breath - this arrangement is for her convenience like every other. The Trustee does not want to do his job. Never mind what is right, let's do what is expedient, with the least effort for all concerned.

I was going to say I bet someone else would outbid her if given the chance, but you have said it so much more eloquently than I ever would have.

If she can come up with $25,000, then I hope they can finally get her for BK fraud on the federal level. If she claims someone else gave her the money, I hope the IRS goes after her again for tax evasion.

story: An account or recital of an event or a series of events, either true or fictitious

Casey Anthony's life story: I lied. I stole. I lied some more. I killed. I lied about that, too (thanks for the perjury, Mom! Glad it paid off for you, too!), but I got away with it. Now I've got other people paying my bills (no stealing required..unless you count the Infernal Revenue). I'm stiffing my creditors, with the help of my attorneys. I don't care whose lives I ruin because of my selfishness and laziness. I still have a small group of misguided supporters who think I'm the victim here...thanks, suckers.

The End.

Someone (:blushing:) should put that on the front of a T-shirt and send it to her. That is her life story in a nutshell.

LOVE it! When someone like Dorothy Sims talks about how much they care about her, I always wonder what exactly do they like about her. Is it her honesty and integrity? Her respect and love for her family? Maybe it is her loyalty and faithfulness to her friends and partners. Perhaps her willingness to work hard to make an honest living? Maybe it is her ever so obvious desire to better herself through education and perseverance to finish her academic career. Oh, I know.. It was how hard she worked to provide a good life for her daughter before the unfortunate accident. Blah and barf.

Simms is just another gullible person taken in by a sociopath. Look at how many people write to and befriend murderers on death row- some even marry guys in prison and on death row. There is no shortage of idiots I'm afraid....

What's the betting she says George and Cindy had a yard sale and came up with the money? :floorlaugh:

I still wonder why Mason is hanging with CA. I don't think there will be any pay off big enough to warrant his disgusting loyalty. In fact he probably has spent money on her. Why would he do that? Fame? Notoriety? I still don't believe he'd trust his grandchildren with her. JMO

my mind goes to other gratuities an old guy might need from a younger (cough, cough) female. Admiration??..

I'm taking this as her settling the bidding on her story. As crooked as a dog's hind leg morally if you ask me. She will pay $25,000.00 (of her parent's blood money no doubt) for her own story so that later down the road she can sell it for whatever amount she want's to sell it for, whether it be 100 million or 1 dollar.

JMO-FICA is like a case of MRSA that cant be treated. It is time for the public to amputate the limb and let her go on her own way. She has OJ written all over her future. She will shrivel up and die if the public stops following her.

The only way to make Casey pay for her crime is to stop playing her game. What a rush she gets each and every time someone rails against her-this is just my two cents.

No one is going to buy what she is selling. No one bought what Baez was selling. And he couldnt bail on her fast enough.

By the time Casey chooses to show her face, whatever appeal she might have had will have faded.

Joint Motion to Approve Compromise of Controversy

In my opinion, it does no good to complain about what the bankruptcy Trustee is doing [more importantly, NOT doing] because it is already a done deal - Trustee and FCA have already "agreed" on the deal and all they need is the bankruptcy judge's stamp of approval. But, we are free to share our thoughts and opinions on this forum.

My personal opinion is that the Trustee and his attorney should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves for putting a low price tag on JUSTICE and not doing the RIGHT thing! It appears to me that the Trustee and his attorney are not concerned about any of the true Creditors, and not concerned about the civil suits of Zenaida, Kronk, and Texas EquuSearch. It is my hope that Zenaida, Kronk, and Texas EquuSearch can file an OBJECTION to this "joint deal" between Casey Anthony and the bankruptcy Trustee.

ONLY $ 25,000 ?? seriously??!!
how did the Trustee AND FCA arrive at such a low amount for the sale of her story???
how does that insultingly small amount help any of her true Creditors?
there are documented FACTS that Casey Anthony has received much more money than that for fewer assets sold without the Trustee having to investigate further

The Trustee and FCA have "agreed" that her story IS INDEED an "asset" which they say SHE has a right to sell.

The bankruptcy judge says she has "NO ASSETS" whatsoever - she is "destitute" - she couldn't pay anything even if Zenaida and Kronk and Texas EquuSearch won their civil suits. Judge says there is nothing on record to contradict her SWORN testimony that she has NO ASSETS. So, how can the judge turn around and grant the Trustee and FCA Motion to SELL HER ASSET of her story?

It is FACT that Casey Anthony and her attorney Baez and her parents have received a LOT of money in the past for photos and video, proving that she does have ASSETS that could be sold in the bankruptcy court, for MUCH MORE than $ 25,000.

(1) Casey Anthony admitted that she posed for SPLASH/TMZ photos in Ohio, August 2011, and gave the rights to said photos to Baez - they could have made $ 500,000 to one MILLION on that deal - however, the Trustee has not required them to reveal the MONEY they made

Nancy Grace confirmed that TMZ wanted NG to pay $ 25,000 to show the staged photos ONE TIME - NG did NOT show them

SPLASH NEWS took the photos and licensed them to TMZ
TMZ published video and photos
Possibly raking in up to $500,000 for those photos

OK. I want to talk about these Ohio photos. The Ohio photos. We`re not showing them.
Dean, come to my ear. How much were they asking to show those photos? Was it $50,000 to show the photos one time? Listening, not hearing. Twenty-five, $25,000.
Every time someone uses the photos, Casey gets a cut of that.

she can get up to 75 percent every time that photo is sold to any news network, any other agency for reprint. In addition to whatever she would get up front just for agreeing to have her photo taken.
GRACE: So if we show the photos, then that money is very likely going right in tot mom`s back pocket.
Alexis Tereszcuk, Radaronline.com - She could make as much as up to $500,000 and we`ve spoken about people $1 million. Every time it gets shown she`s going to get a cut of the money.

(2) ABC paid $ 200,000 in 2008 for less than 15 photos

(3) CBS gave Casey's parents $20,000 for their appearance(s) on 48 HOURS MYSTERY

(4) Dr. Phil money donated to Caylee charity - possibly some portion to Casey [Aug 16, 2011 $ 600,000]

(5) E! True Hollywood Story - subsidiary of NBC [October 2011 possibly $ 185,000]

(6) Casey Anthony receives percentage of Baez book sales and appearances [July 2012]
Baez book - AP bought rights May 2012 - book public June 2012 - Casey signed off on attorney-client privilege for book - common sense that she gets money off this
MSNBC did a documentary based entirely on his book. Baez has done several media appearances to promote his book, as evidenced on the website of BenBella Books.

(7) Piers Morgan June 2012 - Casey's attorney Cheney Mason allegedly given $ 100,000 for current photo of Casey Anthony [June 2012] [Cheney Mason allegedly forgives $ 30,000 debt for legal services to Casey]

(8) Adam Longo/CBS KPHO in Phoenix - phone interview and 3 new photos [Jan 26, 2013 possible $500,000]

(9) Casey writing book - Sept 2012 "memoir" dedication is " My Beloved Caylee, who was taken away from me too soon" - St Martin's Press refused to publish it

(10) Casey Anthony worked with a TV AGENT Mike Greenfield - listed as Creditor

(11) Casey Anthony did not list P.I. Dominic Casey as a Creditor, and possibly has a secret deal with him on his book deal and possible CBS tv deal

(12) Casey Anthony did several AUDIO and VIDEO diaries and has many PHOTOS that could all be sold as ASSETS - her LAPTOP is an ASSET

News Orgs Deny Offering Cash For Casey Anthony Interview
2:56 PM PDT 7/22/2011 by Marisa Guthrie
ABC News was revealed to have paid Anthony the mind-boggling sum of $200,000 in 2008 for photos and home videos as well as $15,000 to the Florida meter reader who discovered Caylee’s remains. In 2010, CBS News paid $20,000 to the Anthony family for material that was used on 48 Hours Mystery and the Early Show. The stench of those transactions has made it impossible for news organizations to hide behind licensing deals. But Anthony’s pariah status and the risk of a swift and loud public backlash for the network that gives her air time have made booking her for even non-paid interview highly problematic.

CASEY ANTHONY'S LAWYER
Thank You ABC For Paying for Our Defense
Jose Baez, Casey Anthony's lawyer, has for the first time publicly acknowledged he was able to mount a successful defense thanks to the money he got from ABC news.

Baez, who appeared on PBS's "Frontline," explained how they got $200,000 from ABC for photos of Casey and Caylee, and that money was used "so we could mount a proper defense."

In 2010, Casey's team divulged in the trial that they spent $275,000 on the defense, and the major portion came from the ABC deal. Now Baez explains the money was critical in beating the murder rap.

OK .. So how long can TES / Zenaida / Kronk etc hang this lawsuit over Casey's head without actually going forward - it may hold her at bay. Also is there any aspect of her life that the Sunshine Laws didn't reveal? The rest will be a lie anyway based on past experience.

Also she's rather dull.

Casey may be sly, but she is inherently stupid. No question that there are a phalanx of folks out there waiting to show her spending money, shopping her story, selling Caylee's possessions on Ebay....the only way that inevitable mistake will be mitigated is if it is carefully orchestrated in advance.

It is a race against the clock for people who are handling her right now lol.

This may be O/T, but now is the time for her high school boyfriends, her co workers and the kids who knew her in grade school to come forward and sell some stories.Perhaps that will make her less marketable-if the bulk of what she has is gutted.

I believe that Casey is like yesterday's news-only fit for lining a bird cage.

Think Tank, thank you for all you do to keep everyone updated.

These are all IMO only -

1). The ABC 200K - If someone told me that their claim of paying for photos was just a way around paying OCA/JB for interviews, which never happened due to her being rearrested in last August, I'd believe it.

[ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_the_Casey_Anthony_case"]Timeline of the Casey Anthony case - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]

2). 500K to 1 Million for the posed OH pictures? I can't believe that - maybe low 5 figures, but not more than that.

3). If a picture of OCA was worth much, the paparazzi would have been all over her. They aren't, and never have been.

4). What story does she have to tell/sell? What can she speak about? What her life is like now? Who cares?

Since she knows "a lot of things about a lot of things" - IMO the only story worth telling is - who knew what when, and what they did about it. Maybe that's why she still has a "team" around her - its not to help sell her story, but to keep her from telling it.

Maybe we are all missing the fact she likes the attention of being in court. I don't doubt that these cases will drag out for years. Everytime there's a new lawsuit, hearing, deposition or any legal proceding she's back in the news and getting attention. People are talking about her and wanting to know if and what she'll say. When the legal procedings dry up she'll be on to the media. I don't think we'll get our wish of her crawling into a hole and pulling the dirt in.

They totally staged the radaronline "caught on camera" yard sale too. I bet radaronline paid them $25K or close to it.:banghead:

These people have NO Shame!!! here they are again profitting off a poor murdered toddler and for what $10 purses and 50 cent toys. Seriously if any self respecting person was in their shoes they would have donated the toys to charity. Kept a few memories for themselves and boxed and shipped off FCA's stuff to her so she could sell off her own junk. But once again trying to make a buck off what scraps they can to expolit Caylee's name. Ebay is probably next.

What a farce! $25,000 to pay off her creditors with first tier going to administrative costs and BK attorney fees. That will wipe out the entire money with nothing going to any legit creditors. JB's claim has not been proven so it may have been make believe anyway. Probably her attorney lent her the money, knowing he will get most of it back in the final distribution settlement.

It looks like our only hope is that the IRS and court ordered costs can be excluded from the BK filing. When will the BK court rule on what can be excluded?

I have been away for a week, and when I checked in today, I was devastated to hear this latest news (or should I say farce).

She's wants it both ways, and of course, they let her have it both ways. She's destitute until it no longer suits her and she wants the rights to her story, and then she easily comes up with 25 grand? And why do her attorney's get paid first? They AGREED to work pro-bono .. unlike her creditors who didn't agree to anything.

Once again, the one who victimizes everyone comes out on top.

None of this was handled diligently. They didn't even make her prove the debts she claims. They should have made Baez prove that he is owed all that money. She told the judge that she didn't believe she owed him money ... so someone is lying. But nobody seems to care. Her and her team of enablers clearly have tricks up their sleeves, but nobody seems to care about that either. The whole thing just makes me ill.
