I don't know much about this case (really). I wanted to try to find the thread that would have been the 'active' trial thread the day the verdict was announced, I am very interested in reading people's reactions at the time. However, the 'archived trial threads' subforum seems to end the day before the verdict was read. I've also gone back to July 2011 in the main thread ... forum ... and can't figure it out. Does anyone have that day's thread(s) bookmarked? Thanks in advance.

Has anyone heard anything about her moving to Tampa and driving a PT Cruiser?

There is a bunch of stuff about these rumours in the sidebar - lots of stuff about someone said - but no real facts as usual. Hard to know what to think. Why the heck doesn't anyone ever get any pictures - everyone has a camera on their phone these days don't they? How hard would it be?

When this kind of rumour gets out - I always suspect it is either FCA or some of her supporters just yanking our chain to see us get in a flap about it so they can sit back and laugh at us.

All of this latest posts are ringing a bell. Somewhere in the hidden folds of my mind there lurks a memory of this being discussed before and a question to AZLawyer in the lawyer thread produced a response that made us all very unhappy. Does anyone else recall this?

I sure hope I am wrong and if I am, I would hope that this info gets forwarded to the trustee.

What I remember AZ saying was that the trustee couldn't sell CA's story. That was a bummer for me.

I would think that CA is about ready to do fisties. I think she can only be on good behavior so long. I just wonder what she goes thru when none of her supporters are around to observe her behavior. She is the kind of person that can be whatever she thinks the ones around her want her to be. Thinking back on the things she did up until the time it was discovered that little Caylee was missing, she was living a life that she was making up as she went thru each day.

My only question is "what was her income in 2008?!!" She was in jail for most of the year. Does anyone know how on earth she owed 47,000.00 to begin with? It couldn't possibly be income as I do not recall her ever having a real job since Caylee was born.

Sorry if this has been discussed, I've been to this thread several times and haven't seen an income discussion. TIA

Well if anything the IRS claim will make life a living hell for her until she gets that squared away. Take comfort in knowing once you make a boo boo with them they won't soon go away. She will also be putting the people "gifting" her these items under the light as well. :seeya:

I think she still is. Since she is again facing financial pressures like she was back then (she is still being controlled by Cindy's pursestrings, imo), I think she will re-offend through either cheque or credit card fraud, or outright theft. :twocents:

Not sure exactly what you're referencing, but she did receive money (or her share anyway) of pictures that she sold...with Baez being the agent. He obviously never set aside money for her to pay taxes on that "income". IMO, he probably didn't expect her to see the light of day (either!!).

She sold photos of her child to ABC for $200K. She still owes the taxes on that income.

Makes the court a laughing stock IMO - with the right hand they impose all those fees because she lied to the court, sent LE on a wild goose chase, and with the left hand they say never mind, you can erase all that with no consequences..

That's the part about all this debt that really burns me - I could care less about Master Card or her cell phone, but no way do I think she should be able to walk away from the court charges or her IRS money owed.


Particularly when I think there are still suckers out there who will pay her big money for an interview and she can walk away with it all. I just hate the thought of it.

Do you think she actually saw any of that? As in did Baez stash some of it away for her somewhere? Or was it all dispersed for legal expenses? We only really know about the 89K he took for himself. And we know she owe 60K something in taxes on it..which Baez didn't seem to have reserved...I sure would have liked to see that accounting which Stan the Man okay'd. ullhair:
