IMO, that statement tells me she isn't living at Ocean Woods. I can't see many, if any OW residents not jumping on that.

What a joke! They can say anything they want as to a bounty, it's just more scare mongering to manipulate the Judge. If someone is really willing to spend $50K to locate her maybe they should just hire a good P.I.- Matt Morgan's guy found her in no time flat..

Yeah there is a lot of publicity in this case...because of her defense team going on national news shows, writing books, planning to write books, going on the news, making nonsensical claims about people trying to kill her, etc. But hey, FL's legal system is basically pro criminal so who could be surprised? Anthony did not appear in court for Tuesday's hearing, but is expected to attend the next one, currently set for Monday.

I believe that for the "regular, tax-paying" citizens in the US of A, there is a yearly limit on untaxed gifting that can be done in any calendar year...$10,000 for the recipient. However, I believe that if the amounts of gifts and services rise above this amount the "giver" needs to pay a tax on the gift.

I have a couple of questions related to this and wonder if some of the posters who know about tax law can chime in.

1. If the Caylee Foundation money was "donated" to Casey is a 403 charity required to account for financial awards? Is there any tax liability?
2. If say, for example, someone donated a place for Casey to stay, does the donor have to pay tax on that "gift" if it is more than the yearly amount?
3. If lawyers are donating their services to Casey, do they pay tax on the gift or do they incur it as a business loss? Or???
4. Do Foundations have any review of their distributions?

Just wondering...

P.S. I would love to know the accounting of JB's $500,000 amount. Am sure he can justify the time, etc. BUT, do we know if he has paid all his "expert" witnesses, etc. Are the experts CA's or JB's liability?

I would also love to see if he claimed any losses related to this trial/case on his taxes in the last 4 years....

1) One of the two most hated grandparents in the USA
2) Married to a man her daughter called a pedophile and a sexual deviant
3) Grandmother of a dead 2.5 bearutiful girl, who was murdered by her daughter Casey
4) Mother of a convicted felon, suspected murderer of her granddaughter, unemployable lying freeloading daughter, who will be forever despised by the public all over the world.

I won't even make a list for FCA then and now.

Exactly. Ashton released his book soon after the verdict. His book served it's purpose .... to discuss the FACTS of the case and the EVIDENCE. He then moved on with his life. Baez, on the other hand is STILL out there peddling his book that is filled with speculation and innuendos.

Baez and mason are the ones always preaching and lecturing that everyone should move on, while they are the ones scoring interviews every other week thrusting her back into the forefront. They say one thing and do another. So which is it ... do they want us to forget about it and move on, or do they want to keep her in the spotlight to advance their own agendas?

Back to the subject of bankruptcy ... I still don't understand how baez can claim that he is owed $500,000. Has this been discussed here at WS and I just missed it?
