That's a good point.
I need to leave Charlie alone.
Yep, I think the same way. The more attention he gets, the more attention he thinks he deserves.

Just a headsup..just saw a ad saying Live interview with Charlie at top of this hour on CNN..Piers Morgan....I dont plan on watching it..and shame on CNN for even allowing this nutbar to run at the mouth on TV..Just thought I would let ya all know :banghead:
Sometimes when people are crazy or on drugs, they speak the truth. At least as they know it. Many Hollywood people have the capacity to implode this way. They are constantly treated like royalty. They are comped at restaurants everywhere they go, as if the rich are the ones that need a free meal. They are surrounded by frantic paparazzi. They are deluged by screaming fans. Not just appreciative people but screaming fans. I watched the Oscars last night and wondered why our society is so out of whack. They are actors, people, not Gods. We should have an event like this with screaming fans for our Nobel Peace prize winners, neurosurgeons, Doctor's Without Borders members, etc. Not for people paid to pretend, no matter how well they do it. But when a person is surrounded by such adulation for most of their adult life, the narcissistic tendencies that caused them to want to be center stage to begin with, are carefully nurtured. I believe many more stars than this actually feel this way but are controlled so they don't divulge what they actually feel. Drugs and alcohol make it harder to control them.
I'll never forget a photo I saw of Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna. Platrow had this incredulous, wide open mouthed laugh and look of astonishment on her face. madonna was laughing as well. The reason? A restaurant manager had just dared to tell these people they would have to wait in line like mere mortals. That says it all to me about their mentality.
I haven't watched any of it (though I have kept up with what's going on here). It's very sad. I have a lot of empathy for him. People keep giving him a public platform for the crazy because everyone wants to see it. Just super sad. My continued prayers for him and his family.

"How can you know when someone can no longer take care of himself, or will not cause more harm than has already occurred? When is it time to institutionalize someone who is beyond helping themselves? Listening to the rants, Sheen is in an acute psychiatric emergency. Yet, without meeting certain rigid criteria, he cannot legally be forced into an institution, rehab or even counseling. The spiraling will continue until something even worse happens. It is very difficult in the United States to force anyone to receive the mental help they need if they don't want it."
As the sister of an alcoholic, who lost her battle this 2010 Christmas Past, and someone who is grieving, it is absolutely clear to me that this man is in the throes of addiction. Whatever substance, doesn't matter.
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to get someone help when they don't want it. I lived it, recently, and my one and only sister, who we all loved so dearly, would not get help. The only thing left was getting her committed, which would have ticked her off to no endI loved her so much, still do, but her addiction took her from us.
Please someone help this man. I totally agree that he is going to hurt someone seriously...I sure hope those baby boys are not still there. It sounds like their mother may be an addict too.
I know of what I speak.....all IMO of course.
I only watched a about a minute of it, I can't watch any more of it but that's just me.
What is very sad to me is that the reporters are jumping to get an interview with him knowing full well he is having a full blown mental episode (I can't define it but I think most of us agree he is having some sort of breakdown or break with reality).
These reporters are exploiting CS. I had thought that he was just having issues with getting some sobriety. I can see now that he has clearly had some sort of break and that is sad for him and for his loved ones and family. It's also very dangerous for him because if he were anyone else---a common man walking the streets he might stand a better chance at getting help. Not always but at least a better chance. But he's not he is Charlie Sheen and from a family that is considered Hollywood royalty and he may just very well die if he doesn't get help soon. I really think that is a possibility.
Makes me sigh and count my blessings at the same time. Kind of feel guilty about that too. JMHO
Well there goes the end to Two and a Half Men ..... Sorry Charlie

People have told me mania is just like a cocaine high. He sounds as manic there as anyone I have ever heard. What worries me is that eventually he WILL crash and come down to the depression side. No one stays manic forever.

He sure does seem manic (you watch him with that lighter? odd) but is he high or is he manic?
Whatever he's doing he looks like he**,I saw him on the Today Show as they showed him with his 2 "hotties" as he calls them.Opportunists taking advantage of a person who is orbiting in "who knows where land".
Looks like a walking skeleton who is in dire need of an intervention,if not,I don't see him hanging around "living"for too much longer.Mental break from reality,he's on his way to his bottom, perhaps thats where he needs to be to wake the he** up!!
I had never watched Two and Half Men until I went to visit a relative in early January of this year. When it came time for T&HM, my relative said that she wanted to watch her show. I was appalled at CS's physical condition. I have no idea if the show was a rerun or a new show, but he looked horrible. As I watching him, I was thinking that he might be an alcoholic. He had had some bad press by that time, but this was before this newest meltdown. I also thought the jokes were old and tired, but I'm not a big sitcom fan.
I watched part of that Today Show interview with the two females also.
I have to say, that one that wasn't wearing a jacket was totally coked out! Her jaw was going like anyone on cocaine. It was very obvious.
How is he supposed to be getting help there when the females living with him aren't sober??
