I don’t know if it is ok to link the tour company. But I was looking at reviews and it seems the boyfriend has had time to place a couple low rated reviews.
Raggamuffin Tours - Google Search
ETA: you must definitely look at the google reviews. And photos !!! There is a photo of tents. Not sure how long ago, but they are very close together.
From all sources it’s been said they were in Rendevous Caye, so camping is the only option. There are actually more options for sleeping besides tents. See link below.

Could there be sounds of waves that may have dampered sounds of her getting up?Help me out with my assumption. But facts are- middle or older aged- sleeping in tent- don’t normally sleep in tent-sleeping on sand - there is no a/c.
The only question or assumption I made was that you would hear a partner get up or you would wake up. I agree there are things that make it harder to wake up. Earplugs, and intoxication. Yet, going to sleep at 10 intoxicated most normally means you’re getting up to go to the bathroom at some point before 6, I would think? And being almost 60, to me would mean you are not sleeping well in a tent.

Are you a middle aged person and have you ever slept in a tent on the beach? You are also assuming they slept on the sand and that there was not some sort of mattress pad/platform between it and the tent. You are most likely correct about no a/c but that does not mean the air temperature was not pleasant.

From your link:
Above – Rendezvous Caye.
The trip is a ‘simple’ camping trip with Raggamuffin supplying all camping equipment with mats and sheets being provided. Passengers sleep in the units that they travel in ie on average 2 persons to each tent or if they are traveling on their own, their own tent, to allow for privacy. On Rendezvous Caye’s infrastructure will allow for camping only whilst on our new Ragga Caye, the second night, there is a non camping option.
There is one Rendevous Caye and Ragga Caye. It’s been reported they were on Rendevous Caye.
So far I'm not getting a Robyn Gardener vibe.
Again that island is small.
No place to hide anyone and if you left with someone you'd have to take a boat.
Possibly she went alone for a swim and drowned ?
Hey LietKynes! Her sister said she’s scared of the water so I doubt she’d swim by herself. So far I'm not getting a Robyn Gardener vibe.

I think someone was just supposing Ambien as a possible reason for her erratic behavior. MOO
She certainly looks like a seasoned traveler from her Instagram account posted above. Astonishing that they haven't found her. But as some of the tour company info states, the surf can be quite rough at night.
"
Returning with the boat
The boat is NOT an option of returning! The fundamental reason is pure and simple – safety. The return leg for the crew only is undertaken (weather and equipment permitting) at night. The sea is more rough as the boat travels against the current and in the darkness navigation becomes more difficult. The crew are immensely capable of this journey but we do not permit passengers to come back with the crew to ensure that the boat and the crew are fully focused on their task and therefore safe."
