I fall into the Jobless statistics that CNN reads out these days. SHIZZZ.

I'm looking hard, but its really difficult to start over.

So, I am asking $13,000 O.B.O for my pride and joy.

This 1999 VX has just under 110,000 miles, had the timing belt recently replaced, has regular oil and tire rotations and has been carefully cared for wiht no mud slinging, just rock climbing and enjoying some fun West Virginia Dirt roads!

The body is in perfect shape with a custom very nice Black paint job. I recently installed the Cobra CB radio with Firewire Antenna, but I haven't hard wired it to the car yet (cause I don't know how). I also have run the wires for the trunk popper, but again, not wired.

So it wasnt solid black? I could paint my car "custom green", but it wouldnt cost me $8000 so long as it was a solid color. The price comes in when you add pin stripes, flames etc...or use any of the red, or orange paints.

That's true but it might depend on your position at the time. When he got the paint job, he might have been working, everything looked promising, etc. Then when the bottom fell out, any cash back was better than nothing.

Remember tho he had to take it from WHITE to BLACK. That's not an easy job, even if you go solid black and no metallic glittery paint or pin striping.

Maybe I'm dating myself here - but, what's up with this CB radio deal. I mean do many people still buy/use them for personal use? I know, what 20 years ago or more that there was a huge CB craze...but I had no idea that individuals used them much anymore, for personal use anyway.

And, as I know NOTHING about CB radios....is there anything in that vein that would be worth spending any investigation time on, or not?

Ya know, we should do some writing analysis and then if we find another forum where we are seeking him out, find our how many of the words he has used in posts that he uses elsewhere... there are certain words he consistenly spells wrong and he uses Dude a lot to ...

I bet we could find an online personal of him somewhere by digging up some idiosyncracies in his writing.

Right, but that still wouldnt put the price at $8000.00. $4000.00 would easily cover it. Still alot of money, but not what I would call a hefty price for painting a vehicle.

some people listen in on each other's conversations on CB. And people who talk on them sometimes think that it's less risky to track like home phones and cell phones, but what some fools don't know is that some people in little ol' towns with nothing better to do tape cb conversation all the time with special satellite devices.

Good observation (about the spelling, certain word usage, etc.), PrayersforMaura. Did you see his post about the image he downloaded to use as his desktop background or something? He was talking about hoping the wife didn't get jealous, and how the skin looked so real, etc. It was kind of creepy actually - lol. If he got that much pleasure out of some computer image, I really believe that he'd at least be browsing and pornographic chat rooms. I believe that he has been around the net in a sexual manner but whether or not he posted or chatted, I don't know. What are some of the more popular message boards for people his age and/or with his interests? As far as dating sites, I'm sure we can't get any information on him aside from stumbling onto his photo (if he posted one), based on our search parameters.

I've decided that parting with the VX is going to be what I need to do. I am going to go to the complete lowest I can go to hopefully sell within 30 days as I am a few payments behind as of today and don't think I can catch up in my current state.

With that said, I am willing to part with this guy for an unbelievably low price of:

Did you see where he dropped $2K on accessories for the jeep and they told him to dump the vx and invest more in the jeep? Jeeps hold their resale fairly well versus the vx's which went for around $30K new to practically worthless overnight. He made the choice to keep dumping money into the vx. I agree with you I don't think it got as high as $8K, but probably was between $4-6K for that job.

Yes. I noticed something called ChatterBox on the pocketpcguy.com page, where he was listing the accessories he was selling with his Ducati. Being the ridiculously anal person that I am, I looked it up.

A communication device you can put in the helmet, so as to communicate with other riders.

Once again, the guy is a TECHNOFILE and loves to keep in touch, wherever he is it seems!

I saw it, but not sure what it means other than he has his favorite. Im not sure how this shows he killed Janet though. Immature? yes. Stupid? yep. But how does it show him to be a killer?

I compare it to upgrading a computer when one could easily buy a new one for far less money. I pour far more into my system than it would ever be worth, and I most certainly could have purchased 2 completely new systems for what I have spent. Why do I do it? I like my computer, no other reason at all.

HOWEVER, I clicked on this thread from the main page and thought is was a 3D rendering of the VX....bummer!

ETA: It sounds as if he's playing it down but obviously there must have been a reason for downloading the image of the girl to put on his computer. Apparently it did SOMETHING for him.
