bill stanton~independent investigator hired by anonymous man and woman benefactors

They were talking about it in the neighbors being questioned about handyman section. Yes, another new section..

From what I can see they aren't necessarily suspecting him of anything. They appear to be just following a lead, like other leads they have followed. At this point we don't know if they found anything or not. They do have to investigate any leads they are given, no matter if they feel the lead is viable or not. Just to rule them in or rule them out.

For instance there was a sighting of a little girl in California. FBI is checking that one out. But that doesn't mean they believe or don't believe she was spirited away to California.

Great, you people set off my clown phobia. :maddening:

(J/k, I really am terrified of clowns but I don't blame anyone here lol.)

As Cachmo mentioned, this azzclown involved himself in Lauren Spierer's case, and as far as I could tell, all he accomplished was to make headlines by interfering with what appears to be a good relationship between the Spierers and LE.

Wait, wasn't Bo Dietl the guy upsetting the Spierers?

In the small, competitive world of celebrity private eyes, image and self-promotion are everything. "There's no question that you've really got to bang the drum and make some noise to get them in the tent," Stanton says. "But once they're inside, you've got to give them a good show or they won't come back."http://nymag.com/nymetro/news/crimelaw/features/4259/
He sounds like an old time preacher at a tent revival meeting.

Why does Billy Flynn suddenly come to mind? Razzle dazzle 'em!

Oh how I hope the focus stays on Baby Lisa and that LE cracks this case soon.

mopo [my own personal opinion]

I'm so sorry this happened to your family.

One quick question:
If the parents are under suspicion would the LE tell them what is going on with the investigation?

In my brothers case, the initial detectives did not share information. They would let us know they were working on a sighting. Now, on a cold case more information is shared.

Yes, and next Cindy and George will be showing up to 'help' this family cope with having a missing loved one.

:banghead:

Oh dear Lord what an incredibly AWFUL thought.

Please don't go giving Cindy any ideas.

MOO: We will hear in the next week that this PI facilitated another LDT and the mom passed. *rolls eyes* watch and see if I'm right.

Yeah that is true. But don't those back doors have to be opened from the outside? So maybe appearances deceive.
I didn't watch that part of the video, but if this is the case wouldn't it be telling if they didn't open it for him? :great:

Maybe yanking his chain, take him to g-parents' to confirm that he is assisting them and not hustling them. :D

His job description has become a moving target.:hypno:

Unmarked LE or detectives vehicles do have handles on the back passenger doors, or at least they do here. Arrestees are usually transported in marked vehicles, or an LE has to be in the back seat with the person arrested.

I would love to know the details of why this guy (BS) was in an unmarked LE vehicle and stayed there while LE went inside to talk to the grandparents. What IS going on here?

Re: anonymous

It may be in the contract he has signed with 'anon' that he can't disclose who he is working for.

Someone should tell him to start throwing y'all into his statements. ;)

BBM

I thought this odd too.

Didn't LE state that they weren't going to give anything out about the investigation to this PI? Then why is the PI in the car?

Do PI's generally come on investigative calls with LE?

hmmm.......I came to see if Wild Bill had managed to get himself arrested yet and read he is riding around in the back of a popo car......glad to see he's getting closer. Sounds like he's off to a heck of a start. Already has other PI's complaining about him....all we need to do is rent an old van and follow him around live streaming his adventures.

Arrested or told he would be arrested for interfering in a police investigation.
