Agreed.
This is a mysterious case and worth sleuthing.

According to the specialist in the article I'd linked, he compared the injuries to a 20-30 foot fall from a building.
That is not a slight bump in the back of the head.

It's worth noting though that the specialist in that article was a neurosurgeon. They don't do a lot (any?) forensic stuff. Just something to keep in mind.

Agree it's a mystery and worth sleuthing, but I really don't think we're going to learn anything more at this point. I hope that if there was foul play, it'll be revealed. I think the chance that there was is very low and the chance that we'll find out if there was is even lower.

I don’t see how he could have made it back into bed with such severe injuries. I think there is much more regarding the circumstances that may never be released to the public. MOO

Interesting article:

Bob Saget's Death Might Not Have Been Accidental

From the article:

While the cause of his head injury wasn't known, investigators surmised he slipped and hit his head on something like the headboard of the bed, ruling his death an accident. However, after reviewing the details of his autopsy report, some experts disagree. In fact, they think the injury was so significant it might've even been caused by foul play.

CNN Chief Medical Correspondent, neurosurgeon Dr. Sanjay Gupta, described the injury as "not a simple bump on the head," explaining how various bones in Saget's skull were fractured, in the front and in the back of his add, noting, "It takes a lot of force to do that." Gupta said the injuries are consistent with someone who might have fallen down the stairs or was unrestrained in a car accident.

From the above article:

Some are even questioning how much investigation was done into just how Bob was injured. Former Assistant US Attorney Richard Signorelli tweeted, "No wrongdoing found. Something doesn't makes sense given his severe head injuries," while trauma physician Dr. Megan Ranney stated, "Hi. ICYMI: This is not a 'slip & fall.' This is not a minor concussion. This is MAJOR head trauma.

Yea, it's all very strange. Orderly hotel room, laying neatly in bed, with a major head trauma consistent with falling down the stairs, being in severe accident, or being hit with a bat. How does that happen in a hotel room? How much investigation did police do? Did they at least view video of him going to the hotel and his room, to make sure he really was alone?

Oh, thank you!

But, no worries. I do have a laundry list of diagnoses (sp?) but nothing that keeps me from getting up & going to work! And, I work as a nutrition & health educator. I get to stop a lot of excuse-making about physical activity and healthy eating. I have severe arthritis, but due to gastroenterolgy problems, can only take Tylenol. COPD, too! So don't try telling me that you 'just can't' be physically active....

Best to posters here and everyone who enjoyed Bob Saget's talent!

I was tested for three auto immune disorders: scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. RA and lupus came up negative but scleroderma was 'inconclusive'. I ended up being diagnosed with morphea which isn't fatal but is a member of the scleroderma family. I had it when I was in my late 20s to early 30s. It basically cured itself and I only became aware of it when a friend at the gym said 'how did you get those burns on your back'. It can be pretty horrible (coup de sabre) but I was very, very lucky.

This case keeps getting stranger and stranger. In this video a neurosurgeon is interviewed---says things don't add up, especially after seeing photos of the hotel room; a former Orlando PD officer says they should investigate more. Most interestingly, Bob's college friend Bruce Hamilton and the person Bob had his last interview with says: "theres nothing more that could have been done. Bob was gone when the police got there. Why dredge other things up?"

Other things...?

Sheriff's logic seems pretty strange to me. Hotel room was orderly, thus it was an accident? Hello? How did he sustain such major injuries from a supposed fall, yet left a perfectly orderly hotel room and neatly got into bed? It doesn't sound like much if any investigation was done at all. Again, did sheriff look at the videos of him returning to the hotel? Could he have been assaulted before getting to the hotel?

It sounds like the injuries were both the back of the head and to the face. To me it sure sounds like somebody beat him up (and not him falling and hitting his head).

"There are people who fall from standing and have things that look just like traumatic injury. The thing that's tougher to track here are the fractures. To have a fracture, you have to have enough blunt force on a bone — directly on a bone — in order to fracture it," says Dr. Marcus. "It's very hard to fracture your orbit [bones in the eye socket area] without traumatizing your orbit."

Does anyone know if BS could have been silenced for something he may know? Did he witness something? If his death was nefarious in nature, someone went to great lengths to make it appear “orderly” in his room.

"Other things" sounds like family/friends know something was going on that they don't want the public to know about. As long as those other things do not include foul play, I guess I'm ok with it.

I really would like to know what other things that don't involve foul play could cause severe head trauma.

While it would be interesting to know what really happened, it is obvious that the family doesn’t want to release more details.

I've been trying to come up with a scenario, but can't think of anything. Maybe someone with a more creative mind than mine can think of something.
I really can't. It either was some very strange accident (and I can't figure out how it could have happened) or there was foul play. And it doesn't sound to me like police did a good investigation here. And they appear to be refusing to investigate further. Did they even do a minimal investigation here?

"Dr. Wecht told Radar investigators should retrace Saget’s steps before he checked into the hotel, talk to witnesses who may have seen his face at check-in, examine hotel card key usage to see if anyone entered his room or even if he was seen with someone else."
