So they interviewed DM, based on his number at MillardAir being called from the burner (Lucas Bates)... Interesting... At that point I bet DM knew he would be caught and thats when the clean up plan (move truck, move eliminator, give lock box away) etc started...

He really is a friendly fellow. Smiling at the reporters, the Bosma family, staring down and smiling at SB as she walked across the court and now this. I don't think there is ANYTHING lost in the translation.

OR maybe DM is a genuine guy with nothing to hide and MS is duly nervous. JMO

I think any court watcher has to be open minded and willing to wait for the case and the evidence in its entirety. I usually find myself in the minority: I thought Karla Homolka's plea deal was imperfect but adequate, and that justice was served overall. I think the evidence suggests that Oscar Pistorius really did think he was shooting at an intruder. Etc. But on this one, evidence and a gut sense have suggested to me from almost the beginning that Millard is a sociopathic killer. The archetypal charming sort that relies on disarming people with verbal acuity and easy congeniality. My best guess is that's what all the smiling is about in court. He's shrewd enough to employ it as a tool but not truly emotionally connected enough to know how jarring it seems to have been to several observers. Smich is harder to get a bead on, but appears to be more 'normal' given the actuality of their dire circumstances.
