At 3 p.m. he got a call and went down to meet them from his high rise. "Two fellows showed up from nowhere," he said. He was expecting them to show up in a vehicle, but they didn't.

One man identified himself as "Evan" or something along those lines, Tumamenko said. There was also a shorter man, he said, staying off on the side.

Igor says one man shook his hand, gave his name as "Evan, or Ivan." He says the other man seemed to be hiding. Never right in front of him.

The taller guy got in for a test drive. The shorter guy got in the back, he said

"The taller guy, he checked the car, and I told them 'let's go drive.'" Says Igor. #MillardSmich

Well, that's creepy.

I see mention of the incinerator and the eliminator. Is this the same thing and some people just call it different names? Or if it's 2 things, what did they use each machine for, in regards to this crime?

While making small talk, the taller man said they were "planning to tow some race cars to Calgary." "The smaller guy was always quiet - almost invisible," Tumamenko said.

The taller guy got in for a test drive, but in the passenger seat. Igor was driving. The shorter guy got in the back, he said.

Igor says the "smaller guy" didn't talk most of the time. Igor was the one driving. Taller guy in front passenger seat. Smaller guy in back.

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 3m3 minutes ago
During test drive, Igor says they discussed plans for the truck. Says they told him they planned to tow race cars to and from Calgary.

Then he stopped and gave the taller man the opportunity to drive.

Adam Carter Feb 4 2016 3:07 PM
They were on Bathurst St in Toronto at the time, and there was lots of traffic he said. About 20-25 minutes to Highway 407, Tumamenko said. He was still driving

“Shane was coming in Friday to quit. Because he wasn’t going to be part of any of this.” Jennings says about his son in law.

Adam Carter Feb 4 2016 2:29 PM
Jennings says he thought he was fired because Millard thought he talked to Crime Stoppers about the truck.

BBM - I call total BS on that!! (Either SS lied to AJ or AJ is lying under oath for his SIL)
If SS was going to quit and didn't want ANY part of this, then why was he selling off DM's toys later on????

Is Igor going to be able to confirm 100% that DM and MS were the ones that test drove the truck when/if he is asked???? This is going to be a very important witness if he can emphatically say YES it is. Same phone # etc. etc.

“I told him I was familiar with this engine from Israeli army experience,” Tumamenko said

I believe "Eliminator" was the name of that particular model of incinerator.

Igor says when taller guy asked him about Cummins diesel he told him he was familiar with it from "Israeli Army experience." #MillardSmich

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 3m3 minutes ago
Igor says test drive along Bathurst in #TO lasted about 20-25 mins. Then he stopped the truck, allowed taller guy to drive. #MillardSmich

Igor says the taller guy turned his head toward the smaller guy oddly when he said that. "Changed the temper...dynamic in the car." #Millard

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 1m1 minute ago
Igor says the "smaller guy" asked him "what exactly did you do in the Israeli Army?" Igor says "I told him 'you don't want to know'"#Millard

No wonder they didn't mess with him.

Is it possible, given DM's finances, some of the folks working there actually had no idea these were stolen vehicles? Or is it more realistic to assume everyone pretty much knew, they just didn't talk about it? (sorry of that sounds like a dumb question)

More likely that EVERYONE knew what was going on in there.. But it was likely that most were only aware of the stripping of the cars, and not the murder aspect of it..
In demand cars are alot harder to "jack" off the street these days.. Maybe this whole kijiji/Autoo Trader thing was a new way to get the cars on the top of the wish list.. I have to think (thankfully) this shi$ show was their maiden voyage.. They might have killed alot more, with that handy hanger/crematorium hook up..

Then the mood changed, Tumamenko says. “There was a change in the dynamic inside of the car,” he said.
The driver seemed stressed, moving in the car seat.

Adam Carter Feb 4 2016 3:11 PM
“The shorter guy asked what I did in the Israeli army?" he said.
“I said, ‘You don’t want to know what I did there.’”

They show up at the Bosma's without a vehicle in sight...

They show up to Igor's without a vehicle in sight... was this a practice run? Were they actually already there checking things out and that's what the delay until 3pm was all about?
Boy oh boy how I'd love to know where good old Lucas Bate's (genuine guy) phone pinged on Sunday at 2pm compared to 3pm.
