Ms.Sherlock - I love your words "hit the ground running" because that's exactly what they all did!

Thanks also to the media - I know that CBC Radio Canada kept broadcasting what little details they had. Such heartbreak for the lovely family and friends.

It must be difficult for the police officials in this case as the search led to unimaginable horror for them as well. Plus of course they have families and some of the detectives would have met Sharlene.

I agree Tealgrove - it is an absolute heartbreaker and it is astounding to me as well just how quickly everything happened and that is a tribute to the police and everyone involved.

I can't/won't look at DM's photos.. Unimaginable evil.

Apparently AS and the other executives knew DM all too well. They hit the nail on the head. DM's tattoos are a reflect of who he was, with a twist on the wrist tattoos.Ambition and disipline; two things DM lacked because in his opinion he was heaven sent and no one should dare to forget that. MOO.

Millard's tattoos: "ambition" & "discipline" on wrists. "I am heaven sent" & "don't you dare forget" on arms. "Desert Baja racing" on bicep

As far as Mr. Sharif and other executives at the company were concerned, Dellen and his red mohawk spelled trouble.

“I thought he was just a spoilt little brat who had his way all his life and didn’t appreciate what his father was doing for him,” said Mr. Sharif. “He was an impediment to the hangar operation” who didn’t meet his deadlines, almost never arrived at work before noon, and refused to clear his collection of cars, jeeps, hot rods, jet skis and personal airplanes from the business premises.

OK so why bring up the Noudga DNA at this point in the trial unless it is relevant to evidence or testimony that happened today? Gloves? Truck?

Bless you Swedie: Good always triumphs over evil!!

I too remember a very grainy photo of a vehicle following TB's truck that police later confirmed was DM's Yukon. I have been trying to find it back in old threads but I haven't had any luck so far.

"Police have said Bosma's truck was followed by a second vehicle the night he was abducted. That vehicle was a dark blue Yukon SUV owned by Dellen Millard, according to police. They say only a driver was inside."

I'm really stuck on that one too. The DNA was not collected until September and her involvement was not until May 9th, is what we understand.
It seems really out of order. Maybe that officer was going on vacation or something so they needed to get that in there. Seems so out of place. Maybe the next days will make sense of it all.

That's my thought. I really think we'll see her driving the Yukon that trailed behind. MOO

Could be relevant to something that is coming up shortly or it is just a scheduling issue with some of the investigators. Get all the legalities of how this evidence was collected out of the way and then get on with where the evidence lead them. This case is pretty widespread in geography, with different LE agencies involved, and it must have been a nightmare trying to schedule all the different officers and witnesses into giving their testimony.

SUSPECT NO. 3
The only person Hamilton police are still hunting down in the Bosma case.
Not much is known about this suspect. Not even if it is a man or a woman.
Police have said Bosma's truck was followed by a second vehicle the night he was abducted. That vehicle was a dark blue Yukon SUV owned by Dellen Millard, according to police. They say only a driver was inside.
Police have not released a description of the driver, nor have they said what role they played in Bosma's murder.
Superintendent Dan Kinsella did cryptically say, after announcing the arrest of the second murder suspect, that, "We believe the danger to the public has been arrested, and we believe the danger to the public has subsided as it relates to this case."

Beside the extreme sadness of poor Tim Bosma's undeserved fate, it is rather very sad to also see an otherwise healthy, nice looking and seemingly fairly intelligent young DM who was heir to a successful family business, steer the direction of his life down the toilet<modsnip>.

CN's charges are dated May 9, so she was not involved prior to that point.

Just jumping off your post regarding CN and the testimony of collecting her DNA that was given today.

LE must have found other DNA on something. Or maybe a hair or two? Some piece of evidence on or inside of the Ram where it shoudn't have been? They must have gotten DNA from the two suspects and the victim. Maybe even his wife and daughter for testing within the vehicle. They likely started getting DNA from a wider circle around DM. They may have gotten it from a few more people but we probably won't hear about that since no one else was charged.

CN's DNA likely was on or in something that it shouldn't have been, which led to her being questioned and eventually arrested. Since it was presented today, I'm sure the evidence of where it was found is coming.

CN was involved early on and LE were on to her. They were getting her DNA sample. Not sure why it took so long for CN to be charged. When did LE find out that CN helped DM move the truck to MB's house??

  • #433
The evidence thus far doesn't have anything to do with why I think there was a 3rd person. It goes further back when we were all speculating in 2013. LE at that time said they were looking for a 3rd. They later said that they were no longer looking for a 3rd and they didn't feel there was any danger to the public.
IMO I think someone did drop them off and was waiting for them. Which is why the neighbour saw 2 vehicles leaving. I dont think there was any switching of drivers. I think the other vehicle was following them through downtown brantford etc as seen on surveillance from businesses.
Now who was in the other vehicle? I don't know. I think LE does. I suspect CN. And I'm wondering if a plea bargain is in place for a reduced sentence for her.
All MOO

Hopefully I have replied correctly. This is my 2nd post and I neglected to Reply with quote the first time around!

From what I read in this article, it looks as though CN has been cleared of being the driver of DM's Yukon on that night.

"If there is a third suspect, Kavanagh said, police do not have any leads on who it might be.
Millard’s girlfriend, whose identity is protected by a court-ordered publication ban, is not believed to be involved, the detective said.
“Millard’s girlfriend has been cleared of that,” he said."

What do we think they wanted her DNA for?

That was in September, four or five months after TB's murder that an investigator followed her on the subway and took the straw from the cup she discarded in the trash.

She was arrested and charged about eight months later April 2014. I would imagine her DNA was found on something. Inside or on the outside of TB's truck, on something it in the hangar, on the incinerator? LE found evidence she helped DM move the incinerator and TB's truck so...
ALL MOO.

Welcome!
I read that as LE was telling the public she was cleared of being involved in the entire case, but evidence was found to disprove that.

Wonder if DM was shaking his head? Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy CN!! MOO

He'll be cussing under his breath at MS. "It's all his fault. If he had only helped me finish what I started, I wouldn't be sitting here today." ;) and MOO.

Great find LibTech and welcome to posting! :welcome: You quoted just right. :)

So LE officially cleared her of driving the Yukon at least. Thanks for the info.

I think a lot of what they said at the beginning is somewhat different from the testimony to date. JMO

Which maybe backs up what DM said about things not matching disclosure.

Where does it say that?
This is the direct quote, which I read as saying, they don't believe CN was involved, which we all know is untrue now with her being charged as an accessory.
She wasn't a suspect in the murder of TB but an accessory after the fact.

"If there is a third suspect, Kavanagh said, police do not have any leads on who it might be.
Millard’s girlfriend, whose identity is protected by a court-ordered publication ban, is not believed to be involved, the detective said.

Wow- arms crossed- looking tired and not too happy. Bad day for a genuine guy who's a humble, generous, philosophical type. MOO

For all we know at this point he could be genuine on many levels. Time will tell. IMO
