They had to break the seals and take the locks off to photograph the truck. Correct?

I think that is a mis-tweet by Adam. My guess is she photographed the trailer and checked the seals on the doors. MOO

When in Hamilton only pictures of the outside of the trailer were taken. The seals were left intact. It wasn't until the trailer was at the OPP facility in Tillsonburg that the truck was actually examined. I think it was bad wording on Adam Carters blog....he said photographed truck....I think he meant trailer....jmo

One would assume so. [And then resealed it before transport to the Tillsonburg forensics facility.] I think she was just making it known that it was intact completely after the Kleinburg to Hamilton journey.

Yeah I went back and reread some of the tweets and agree with RandomName479 with Adam meaning the trailer, not the truck.

Court time is extremely intense and exhausting for jurors. Lots to learn. I think they welcome the breaks.

Fokkens Tax Service @FokkensTax
@susanclairmont Do jurors look at all frustrated with the technical delays, short days, no sitting on Fridays, etc. I would be.

I think you're correct. The warrants to touch and examine this evidence were sent with Officer Troubridge to Tillsonburg.

Court is now seeing this photo of where the trailer originally was stored in Hamilton. Mclellen says there wasn't enough room to work and people working there were taking photos with their phones, so the trailer needed to be moved.

The exterior of the trailer was fingerprinted at the Hamilton facility using fingerprint powder. No prints were found.

A tire impression was also attempted at that facility before it was moved. Because the weight couldn't be determined though, it had to be done at another time.

A VIN number was also taken down from the back of the trailer. The warrant didn't have the right VIN (it was off by a couple of characters) so the warrant had to be amended before it could be searched.

They decided it was problematic to have it there. #Bosma

Says when she and other cops got to metro trucking on May 14 where trailer was, the mechanics there immediately pulled out their cell phones

BBM - possibly can account for the delay in searching the truck? Moved from MB's on Sunday and not searched until wednesday morning....moo

Arrangements were made to tow it to the Tillsonburg OPP forensic facility. #Bosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 31s32 seconds ago

How is that possible on a shiny surface like that? Oh wait...black latex gloves? Wipe down? Did it rain?

Their role was to document all the evidence. A separate blood team from Waterloo was to do the chemical search to test for blood #Bosma

The trailer was taken to Tillsonburg and opened up on the way. This story gives a recap:

Mclellen says they did a naked eye examination for blood, but also a look with different chemical processes/alternate light sources to see if there was blood on any other surfaces.

Funny you mention rain, because if you look at the trailer photo on MB's driveway, you can see lighter patches of driveway under the trailer, with the rest of the area darker...implying rain :)
