Maybe something will come out that they need to show that MS didn't know he was police. Or they were hoping that the officer was in uniform so they could go with the "so you are saying he did nothing to hide himself from a police officer" to imply innocence. Or the lawyer really wanted to be able to ask a question....and there was nothing else.

I'm having a difficult time following the testimony to be honest. The Crown seems to be all over the place. We were talking about video footage in early May, the Napa guys in early May and now all of a sudden we're arresting MS in mid May. It just isn't flowing and I think I know more than a lot of jurors.

I was convinced that we were being set up for the video at the hangar and now we've backtracked.

We certainly need to keep our thinking caps on!

so they jump from Smich arrest no mug shot no details no nothing to Millard Air book keeper? so strange

I've been wondering if DM had an IT guy, because those security DVRs are often password-protected. It's possible DM didn't even know how to operate it. And now it seems Charles does surveillance, so ...

She did bookkeeping work for MillardAir and properties in January 2012. She says she had met Dellen Millard before that.
by Adam Carter 2:34 PM

In January 2012, Millard asked Williams to take over bookkeeping for MillardAir. The hangar at the Waterloo airport was still being done at that time.
by Adam Carter 2:36 PM

When she started bookkeeping in 2012, MillardAir had about 14 employees, Williams testifies.
by Adam Carter 2:37 PM

She says Millard took over MillardAir in late 2012 "after his father passed."
by Adam Carter 2:37 PM

There was no income in the company up until his father passed, Williams says.

(I swear, it feels like about three hours have passed since 1:30pm or so.)

Zeroing in on the GL entry for the incinerator is my guess.

Please keep in mind that the defense has been arguing without the jury to have evidence left out. Lots of times, the judge rules immediately, sometimes a judge saves a ruling after they've done some research. It will all come together.

After Dellen Millard took over the company, the workforce changed, Williams says. "The employees were let go. Except there was one that remained on." That was Shane Schlatman.
by Adam Carter 2:38 PM

Her job was keeping track of expenses.
by Adam Carter 2:39 PM

There was a lone for the company taken out in Oct. 2012, to buy equipment needed to keep the business going. It was for approximately $3.7M, Williams says.
by Adam Carter 2:40 PM (I assume he means 'loan')

Jury back. Lisa Williams called to the stand. She is a bookkeeper. Works with husband Charles Dubiens who does computers, security cameras.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 8m8 minutes ago
They do contract work. She did bookkeeping for other companies. One of her clients was Millardair. Knew of Dellen Millard in 2001.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 6m6 minutes ago
She met Dellen later than that. Jan. 2012 she started to do Millardair books. Met Dellen before that "a handful of times."

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 5m5 minutes ago
Dealt more with Wayne Millard, Dellen's father up until January 2012. Hangar was being built, finished toward end of 2012.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 4m4 minutes ago
About 14 employees of Millardair. Late 2012 Dellen took over Millardair "after his father passed." No income for Millardair under Wayne.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 3m3 minutes ago
When Dellen took over, employees let go except Shane Schlatman. "He was there, I guess, to watch over the hangar." She entered invoices.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 2m2 minutes ago
She entered expenses, including payroll. There was a loan taken out in October 2012 to buy equipment to prepare it for opening. $3.7 million

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 1m1 minute ago
She understood business would ne aircraft maintenance. After Wayne died it was decided it would be hotel for aircraft.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 39s39 seconds ago
Opened Dec. 2012. Business "was very minimal."

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 18s18 seconds ago
Up until May 10, 2013, it was never used to store aircraft at all.
