That's right if she is the one wearing the friggen sexy shoes where the he** is her ankle bracelet!?!??

Cops took it off so it wouldn't taint the jury's opinion of her would be my guess.

For those at the trial, where do witnesses enter from? Are they in the public areas or do they come in from backstage?

The witnesses enter the courtroom through the same door as the public, the media, the family, and even the lawyers. The judge and the jury have a separate entrance, and the accused come through yet another entrance.

So CN would wait in the hallway until she was called?

So CN would wait in the hallway until she was called?

They have interview rooms where she could "hide out" until she got called, but ultimately she has to come through the same door as everyone else. Lots of witnesses in this trial did in fact sit the hallway amongst the public before going in, it's just the ones that don't want their face in the news that don't.

Although we know that DM wrote in one letter about CN talking to someone to change their statement, I wonder what other things he wrote. They have a large volume of letters from him so I am pretty sure he probably wrote about other things to do with his charges. Otherwise why would his letters all have instructions for her to destroy them??

MOO.

I'd like to know how he got them to her? unless LE let the do not contact order slide in this case hoping he would give them some more damning evidence?

If he was stupid enough to spell out the changes she is to execute, it may be very revealing about what actually happened. We can only hope. MOO

The witnesses usually sit in an open seating area right next to the seating area directly outside of the courtroom until they are called in. To minimize drama regarding this particular witness, she may have been called in to sit in the small interview room between the two sets of doors going into the courtroom while she waits.

I was looking at the instructions to destroy them more from the stand point that he knew that he (DM) was to not contact her and she (CN) knew that too. Vice versa.

I suspect he considered it confidence. That she would do exactly as he asked, no questions. It will be interesting though to learn what else was in those letters. I can only assume if it's relevant to the Crown's case, we'll find out.

This is unlikely to come out in the trial but all of those blasted legal argument days contain a lot of information!
I expect there may be more answers shared by reporters after the trial is completed.

My guess would be via visits from MB

Yes, I was going to mention.... remember about the red shoes? ABro wrote on her blog one time about a court appearance for some of the Matthews (I believe), and the Crown wore red shoes. It was curious.

Unfortunately for (MWJ), despite the discharge from Justice Di Zio, he’s still in the new and newly notorious Toronto South super jail due to another set of charges he faces, allegedly selling guns to Dellen Millard.

There was a prelim for those charges at Old City Hall last month. It was very interesting but remains covered by a publication ban for now.

The only thing I’m prepared to tell you is that one of the prosecutors, Jill Cameron, wore red-soled shoes on the first day. Hmm.

If you watch this video closely you’ll see not only the eponymous red shoes ......

It makes me very uncomfortable when I hear the cavalier tone of conversations between some spectators here.

Yes. Even though AM sat right out in the hallway amongst the court spectators, he was taken into one of the interview rooms to speak to the Crown before his testimony commenced. I wonder how long this will take before CN gets on the stand.
