Why does DM have all those cleaning supplies in his Yukon on May 10th? He has a home, with a washer, so he doesn't need those things in his car as if he uses a laundromat. Or did he? :waitasec:

Did LE ever find either an orange long sleeved shirt among DM's possessions at home or a red, long, hooded sweatshirt among MS's possessions?

MOO

Id guess that detergent is what is on the black gloves.

Thing is that ash marks very easily. I do not see one ash mark on that file folder. Not one.

True. To add some clarity to my original post....this is what my gloves look like after I've used a hose to wash out my hearth or BBQ and it has mixed with the ash and then dried. It actually stains the glove but isn't in ash form anymore. It is almost a mud substance that has dried onto the gloves. MOO

I noticed this also and look when he gets to the front of the vehicle coming back..he pauses and then no longer has it in his hands..thought maybe he passed it off to her? or to DM through the window?

Looks to me like he has something, walks over to MM and hands it to her. She bends down and puts it in her purse while he walks back to the SUV.

SC tweeted today that there are about "25 or so" witnesses to go. On March 7 she tweeted that Jones was witness number 67 for the Crown, with 39 to go.

106 total witnesses for the crown means we are 3/4 of the way through the Crown's witnesses.

The judge says we are at the halfway point in the trial.

Of the "25 or so" witnesses to go, we know of MM, MB, AM, SS, CN, CD upcoming, perhaps a few names that popped up on the phones, and...?

Also at some point I think we have to hear from LE about the search of the hangar? The hangar was crawling with LE and we haven't heard anything of what became of that.

Nope, I don't either, from the vantage point of this photograph.

We know Tim was put in the incinerator.
We know the incinerator was cleaned out.
We know DM had access to gloves and this particular one in this bag is one of many found in his possession.

It looks like ash to me, but it may not be. In the end, I'm not sure it matters, it was just an observation.

Hi all. Just popping in to share the most up-to-date trial timeline May 6-10. I've included as much info as I could find to date, with references back to the evidence and testimony. If you notice any errors or omissions please let me know.

Not sure if anyone has prepared a list like this yet, but here is a comprehensive list of the Crown's witnesses to date:

It appears from the cell phone activity that wherever MM was going on the morning of May 7th, it must have been fairly local and DM hung around for a bit because his phone was still pinging off the tower closest to 30 Speers Rd until at least 8:20am. He was close to his own home on Maplegate by 8:49am.

So they went to MS's home first on the morning of the 7th, MS tried to contact MM by phone (likely the land line since there is no cell record) and then messaged her on the Ipad ("what's wrong with your phone, why can't I CALL you?"). DM's first cell communication from MS's home is 7:52am. He sent a text to an unknown number of 2490. Meneses phone is 2790. Personally, I think he typed in the number wrong since the 4 is right below the 7. MS's burner phone had to have been out of battery charge because he didn't even use it from his own home to try to call or text her. That phone did not get enough power to accept the 21 messages that were sent to it from 9:20pm the night before, until 9:18am on the morning of the 7th. So that's when it had charged enough to start receiving data again IMO.

I would be interested to hear the time that Shannon Martin reported that. I heard something completely different at the end of court today. There will be no court on Easter Monday (March 28th).

We have been told that Dubien will testify, SS will testify, the 2 girlfriends... and the rest is speculation.. but I would imagine there may be some more officer testimony in regard to findings inside the barn, or in the corn field.. the matching up of the corn husk found on TB's vehicle with the corn husks found at the farm in Ayr.. possibly the matching up of the earth that was found on the running board of TB's truck, compared to the earth samples at Ayr.. we still haven't heard about any testing or matching up of any shoe-prints found in the truck.. perhaps Madeleine Burns(?).. and what about those letters DM sent to CN from prison? I'm not sure who will be testifying about finding those, more officers, along with CN?.. and what about Andrew M? Isn't he also to testify?

I can't remember what all else we have heard about, but there are definitely more witnesses remaining than just the 2 (ex) girlfriends. What about the additional 39 that we heard just the other day that are still to come, of which there have only been a small handful since then? And wow, I will be shocked if they actually have the 2 accuseds testify in their own defence. If anyone finds the reference to when/where SMartin said this, please post it!

scan to the 31:30 minute mark to see Shannon Martin reporting on the Bosma case.

To clarify what I heard the first time, she said that the crown will call their girlfriends, and wrap the case in April (I thought she said wrap the case after the girlfriends were called, my mistake) .. and then said the defense will present their case, and we understand that DM and MS could take the stand.

.... she's leaving it a little open, so I apologize for saying I heard that they will. Could / Will .. we won't know until it happens I guess.

Love this. Thanks for updating with the arrest info, because I was curious about that yesterday!

Swedie has an unordered list here http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...d-**-No-Discussion-**&p=12402234#post12402234 but it only goes up to witness 67 or thereabouts (March 7)

We've had another 14 people

Not sure if all of the 67 are on that list either.

billandrew, your work is beautiful to look at. Would love to see an indexed witness list like that. I truly admire and appreciate all these details that you have put together so meticulously.

I think it might be a strobe light for use on top of the vehicle when driving inside the airport grounds? I put up a communication tower at the airport in Thunder Bay and we needed to have a flashing light on the vehicle at all times while on airport property. I could be wrong, of course. JMO

It certainly looks quite similar to the google images that came up. Now that you mention it, I think someone else noticed some kind of exterior wiring for flashing lights on the Yukon? I don't know a thing about that stuff so it all went right over my head to be honest. If that is what the red thing is, why would he need such a light on his vehicle for driving inside the airport? I know nothing about airport rules either, as you can clearly tell :)

From reading the MSM articles about the witness, which added a significant amount of detail that we didn't get in the tweets, his uncle was pretty much spewing venom towards his "nephew." This was the first witness that truly was able to provide any indication of the character of DM. Too bad they didn't delve deeper into that. MOO

My thoughts on RBs scorn towards DM is that it may reflect his belief that DM is guilty (not just of this case, but his two other alleged murders), and not relate so much to his previous relationship with him.

I can imagine that a family man, getting up on the stand in front of TBs wife and parents, would want to make clear he is not in any sympathy with the accused.

So we have six weeks down, we're taking a week off, and the Crown will present its last 25 witnesses in the last two weeks of March.

Then on to the defence.

I spent about an hour the other night on this one image alone. Lighten the contrast and boom, all sorts of things become clear. Can't quite figure out what that red thing is with the black top, though, right by the brown thing that looks like a little booklet of some kind. It reminds me of the plastic balloon pump we have but there's no way that's what it is.
In my view the set was removed to accommodate Pedo. His bowl is there with what may be a doggy toy (red lidded object?) and poopy bags (black plastic) and plywood over seat runners so he has a level surface. JMO

I think the girlfriends' testimonies will take more than a day each with cross (if they dare!) JMO

I think MS takes the file holder, passes it to the driver and then goes around the car to open the car door for his gf.
But where is that thing what looks like a bag with long carry strap when MS comes back to the car?? I see him lift the strap on his right shoulder when he is going to his gf at the entrance; when he is returning to the car the thing is "gone, gone, gone".

Just part of airport regulations, likely as a safety precaution to lessen the chance of vehicular collisions and such. MOO

This is a little off topic (apologies)...
The airline referenced by the witness yesterday, Bearskin, was started to service the workers flying into and out of camp at the diamond mine we built up on James Bay. It was (is?) a little outfit that was affectionately referred to as "Scareskin" by my co-workers who had the (mis)fortune of flying with them. From what I understood, it wasn't a pleasant experience flying with them...small, used Dash-8 planes. I flew Air Canada and can't speak directly to the experience, so my apologies to Bearskin and their employees. FWIW, It just gave me a good/funny visual of DM's future business interactions.
I don't see how that would have been viable financially unless it was intended as a sideline to a more lucrative business. It would be like building a banquet hall and trying to support it with a coffee Shop.
