Did we not hear that LE tracked the gun used on WM to someone who sold it to DM?

I believe so, but that is far from conclusive. That will be an interesting trial if it ever happens.

Just as an aside, there's no difference between having the opinion that DM killed WM and having the opinion that DM "accidentally" killed TB, which you stated yesterday with the same degree of confidence.

Except this thread is about the trial for TBs murder. Thus, anything about WMs death has no bearing here. The jury can't consider it, why should we?

From what I have heard in MSM, we will start today with JV and then SS is up after that...

Whether he was accidentally shot during the committing of theft or if it was premeditated isn't really that important since both would be considered guilty of first degree murder. Just saying.
Evidence certainly is not leading down the "oops" path, though. Some evidence might be too circustantial and difficult to prove premeditation but I don't know how important that will be in this case. Proving they killed him while stealing a truck is enough. JMO

Here's a bit of advice. If you are ever in this kind of situation, never go to the police and try and work it out. EVER!!

I know we have been told since we were kids that the police are our friends and are there to help us. Simply not true if you are involved in a crime. They will be nice to you, act like they are helping you, but in the end their objective is to lay the maximum charge the law allows against you.

If you are in trouble, see a lawyer.

I feel almost speechless and sickened by this reply. Respectful, honest people would do the right thing and go to LE regardless of punishment. You screw up in life, you suffer the consequences regardless of the crime committed. Absolutely NO ONE has the right to take the life of another, to steal, rape, etc. To think that you would waste lawyer/court time to potentially cover your butt during a crime you were involved in, sickens me.

I'm looking forward to new testimony and evidence today. I think the Easter Break and no jury days have let our minds wander a bit much.

I well agree!

This week of hiatus from the trial news is like staying up all night reading a great book only to find the last chapter pages are missing.
ARGGHHH

Getting a lawyer and doing the right thing are not mutually exclusive.

Certain posters on this thread conflate getting legal advice with not speaking to police.

A good lawyer might accompany you to the police station or advise you on what to say and what not to.

Just telling someone they don't need to talk to police is hardly good legal advice when it could very well be beneficial for their clients and the administration of justice to speak to police.

TB accidentally got killed, is that what you believe happened andreww? Do you believe DM accidentally brought his gun along for the ride also? A concealed and loaded gun at that. MOO.

Where was DM concealing the gun, again? Was it in the pocket of his giant hoodie? On in his waistband hidden under his giant hoodie? Oh no, wait, that was MS! DM was just wearing a tee shirt if I remember SB's and her tenant's testimony.

Did they remember DM having his man purse? I think the answer to that was no as well, which I found very surprising, because every time I have ever seen a man wearing a purse, I notice it right away and it sticks in my memory as a main description factor. Call me old fashioned, but in my time a man wouldn't even want to be seen holding his wife's purse, let alone string one over his own shoulder, lest he be considered less of a man. In my opinion, many country folk still hold these same beliefs, which is why the metrosexual thing never took root outside the big cities.

All my opinion only.

Wasn't one of them on their way to see their lawyer when they were arrested?

I can concede that using the gun may not have been their initial intent....but the fact that they had a gun at all speaks to having in mind a contingency plan at the very least.
And a contingency by it's very definition is essentially a "Plan B" and does require some pre-meditation.....nothing 'oops' about it.

In many cases, there are bound to be a number of unknowns and that is to be expected. What is overwhelming in this particular case are the number of inconceivables that keep surfacing at so many levels. No wonder people cannot wrap their heads around all of the details heard so far and come to logical or sensible conclusions. This case is a rare glimpse into the sick machinations of sick minds and their supporters......frankly--bone chilling !!!

The whole incinerator theme, and MS comments to gf 'gone gone gone' IMO Millard had this delusional fascination of making people disappear with out a trace.

The original question pertained to why Millard would not go to the police when he realized he was in possession of Bosma's truck. I highly recommend that people that are 100% innocent talk to police, but being in possession of a stolen truck is already a major crime, no matter how he obtained it. Going to the police at that point would have been stupid, and even if he had gone to a lawyer they would have told him not to go to the police.

Please don't make me out to be the bad guy here.
