RC...I'm still having troubles understanding the whole deal about MH and coercion (good cop/bad cop). Would you help me with this one?

I honestly can say I've never met a Canadian I didn't like. I have several who are close to me, and they're just friendly, happy people. I would love to make a trip there some day.

As to Paul B., SG, I never even heard of him! Are there any more "infamous" Canadians I am forgetting? (Not counting the perps already mentioned by our Canadian posters)

Thank you for the compliment. Yes, we Canadians are peaceful (laid back?), sometimes too much so. Paul B's partner Karla Homulka, Robert Pickton, Clifford Olson were not so peaceful though.

You are going to get me in *so much trouble* with Mrs JA Young! Really I just want him for conversation about the case, (ok perhaps some light yard work and walking madame too...oh and I have a tiny attic insulation issue I need him to finish). But mostly to discuss every detail of the case. Because, I am not a patient woman. They can take as long as they need to for a trial; that's fine...I just need to know all the evidence and I need to know it NOW! <stomps foot for emphasis>.

If RC thinks that the phone and computers were the last piece of evidence LE needed, I wonder if they found something on the computers that pointed to pre-meditation. Maybe e-mails to the French honey? Saying, I'll be "free" soon????

The Bernardo/Homolka case will chill you to the bone. I have a book on the case if you want to borrow it. Their crimes were simply unimaginable; they almost make Brad boy look like a boyscout.

Was there a call made by NC's phone to BC after midnight and before 7AM?

It seems there were two affidavits by MH...is that correct? I only read the one where he alleges the CP were playing "good cop/bad cop". I'm confused.

With the line of questioning done concerning her during the deposition and the statments made by his classmate in the N&O this morning, there HAS to be some connection to her. I said from day one that I felt his affair with her was still in progress at the time of NC's death. I believe that still.

Maja: Scott Morris lives in a different county (Granville). Brad is in Wake county, so they do not have the same DA.

Maja - neither the articles nor either of MH's affidavits clarify a time frame in which LE was asking him about. However, MH says he talked with LE about phone calls between he and Brad the morning of the 12th after 9am, as I recall either Saturday evening or sometime Sunday following Nancy's disappearance. This is the only time reference given. The question becomes why did LE bring MH in twice after the intial conversation to talk about those calls after 9 am between he and Brad, and why did MH assume that LE was accusing him of using Nancy's phone. There must be some reason for him to assume LE is accusing him of using Nancy's phone and then run to the press to make his claim of coercion. He did not repeat this claim of coercion when he was on the stand during the custody hearing. He only admitted to being naive about investigation activities.
