Brainstorming Ron's flurry of phone calls

What is it with phone flurries and little girls that go missing? Makes me think Haleigh was with RC during the flurry.... I know she wasn't...

It's interesting you say that, because Tommy (and Ron confirms) says that he got a call from Ron around 9 wondering if Misty was there. Tommy would be his closest neighbor/relative of Misty/person he knows.

And so Tommy winds up going to the trailer, discovers what his sister has done and helps her cover it up? And when the law starts putting heat on his sister and himself, they start throwing out any and every story they can think of to put the heat on anybody but them? That's pretty close to what I think happened, anyway.

and so Tommy bangs on the door and no one answers, and he goes home and goes to sleep himself. That's how I see it happening.

Well hopefully time will tell. Unfortunately, neither scenario is going to bring Haleigh back.

You're right; that's why I'm not interested as much in scenarios as the truth. When there are too many things to contradict or twist the simplest explanation, the truth is never going to be found in those scenarios, but in the exclusion of a scenario in favor of that truth.
