Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Braydon.

The 22-year-old was last seen on Friday (October 20) at around 8.30am on Willington High Street.

He was then captured on CCTV withdrawing money from the local Co-op cashpoint and was seen purchasing items from GOLOCAL and the Premier store at around 12pm.

Braydon is 5ft 2inches tall, with shoulder length brown hair which is often in a ponytail. He was wearing a black jacket with a large motif on the back, dark grey ripped jeans, black Vans shoes and a black cap with red writing.

It is believed Braydon has since changed his clothing.

Anyone who has seen him, or knows where he is, should call us on 101, quoting incident number 303 of October 23.

The co op cashpoint, golocal shop and premier store are all on the same road, just a short walk from each other. 8.30am - 12 noon is 3 and a half hours, that's quite a while if he stayed in this area all that time. There is a library that would have been open, it's pretty small so he likely would have been noticed by the staff there if he went in. I wonder how close Braydon lives to this road, whether he went back home between the sightings at the different shops, if it was normal for him to hang around here, if he met with friends, talked to acquaintances or kept to himself. Does Braydon work? Did his friends and family notice anything else outside of his normal routine in the last few weeks? Just some thoughts and questions I had

Sad news. RIP Braydon & thoughts are with your family & friends
We are sorry to report that officers searching for missing Willington man, Braydon Wright, have found a body.

Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of the 22-year-old have been informed.

Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.

The body was found this morning by members of the Teesdale and Weardale Search and Mountain Rescue Team, carrying out a targeted search of land near Hunwick.

We would like to offer our thanks to members of the mountain rescue team, who have volunteered their time to assist with the search for Braydon in difficult conditions over recent weeks.

An investigation is now underway to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the death and the coroner has been informed.
