He is booked, but they are holdling their charges and just hanging onto him until the paperwork is clear to send him to CO. Extradition hearing should be up next.

I am with you. The tracking system is usually close to real time. Maybe an hour or so off. It is a good way to track his whereabouts if the media doesn't get the info .

I noticed the same thing - I caught a blurb where they showed him at LAX and that was pretty much it. I guess there isn't any new news. Maybe now that he's in US custody they'll have some new info. They said he was talking on the 15 hour flight...I'm interested in hearing what he had to talk about. I assume it wasn't JonBenet.

Bean............they're not reporting because they don't think he has anything to do with this.. The only real thing they know for SURE is that John Mark Karr guy is major kookie......rather pitiful, and as far as I'm concerned just another weirdo who hangs out in Thailand looking for little girls to have sex with.

Bean............they're not reporting because they don't think he has anything to do with this.. Why is it strange John would want to leave.I do not get why people think this odd. John has put up with constant harrassment from the media, he is getting older, probably wants a quiet life.All of the kids have flown the coup and he is now footloose-and- fancy -free. Why not? Could it be that he is just sick of it. Why do people see every thing with suspicion. Wherever he goes he will have to live with JBRs death and he can be brought back at any time.

The world is fully of beautiful places where the media does not give chase at the drop of a hat. The Media are like Rabid dogs.

That makes sense to you? Most parents of murdered children want to be right there and get a minute-by-minute update on the evidence, and then of course - attend the trial.

My hubby and I were talking about this last night. I have video and pics from Christmas 1996 but I don't know if the date is on any of it. Our son was a newborn then and he is in the videos quite a lot but then I'd have to prove it was actually HIM. It would be VERY difficult to provide definitive proof, I would think, that someone was with you on a certain date, 10 years forward.
