I'm wondering if Mary up in Boulder took offense to Jamie's unkind comments about having a hard time getting info out of them, and even though the last communication said it would be early next week, decided instead to bring him up earlier.

Scandi
I thought of that too.

If all of the above were true, why didn't he turn himself in, rather than wait to be arrested half-way across the world. Does't make sense to me.

What I think is that he, like many old posters on the forum, he MAY (and this is if I believe Tracey at some level, and I am not sure that I do) have been trying to pass as somehow related to the case, in order to stimulate interest through the net regarding himself. I'm sure we have all come across many cases of people trying to convince us or hint that they are somehow connected to someone or something famous. I think that this may have happened here. I recall when i posted here about 7 years ago, there were posters who seemed to be hinting at being personally involved in the case.

If Karr had stepped forward to confess, this case wouldn't be nearly as dramatic as it is now. He did the right thing, email interchange with a "Professor" in the states who also has an avid interest, and who has written extensively on the case, and also produced a made for TV documentary. With time, Karr had to know that his emails would be turned into authorities, and he would be pursued and arrested, and at that point, the world stage has been set for the next great production. He has done a great job of emulating the killer of Jon Benet, now we just have to see if he is the real killer, or just completely delusional--no, I don't think he is delusional, I think he is sane and knows what he is doing.

It's on right now (11 pm pacific time). Hope some of you saw it, it's a good overview of the case with a little updating. Sad to see again how the police bungled collecting evidence, etc.

Hi Hyatt,

Just adding to what Buzz said, Karr stated to Wendy Hutchins that he didn't want to be incarcerated. Plus, he wouldn't be able to find little 7 year old girls to cuddle and love if he was locked up. So, guess it didn't fit his lifestyle! He's not crazy but I think he is delusional. Too bad a guy like this is able to live in the everyday world.

That doesn't make any sense. One would think, they would cringe at the word, not internalize the word! Whacky to think we would believe that! Hmmmmppttt!
You'd think so wouldn't you Lamer.

Patsy also decorated with pineapple wallpaper in the Atlanta house (after JBR's death)
Try and fathom that one!

John Mark Karr, the suspect in the killing of JonBenet Ramsey, now sits in the Boulder County Jail, separated from other inmates for his own safety.

A plane belonging to the Colorado State Patrol brought Karr to Colorado on Thursday, ending days of speculation regarding when his transfer from California would take place.

The plane touched down at Jefferson County Airport, between Denver and Boulder, at 4:58 p.m. (6:58 p.m. ET). It departed Long Beach, California, several hours earlier.

Karr, dressed in a red shirt and dark pants, had his hands cuffed in front of him and his feet shackled. He was escorted to a black sport-utility vehicle, which brought him into Boulder and to the Boulder County Jail.

Brother: Karr Didn't Kill JonBenet

John Mark Karr's brother insisted Friday that Karr did not kill JonBenet Ramsey. "Absolutely not. Emphatically. Without a doubt," Nate Karr said in a television interview.
Karr told ABC's "Good Morning America" he was certain his brother spent Christmas 1996, when JonBenet was slain, with his family.

Addressing his brother, Nate Karr said: "We love you and we support you 100 percent. ... Help's on the way."

The Ramsey riddle

"Let me put it this way," DeAngelo said. "Mary Lacy (Boulder district attorney) and Pete Mcguire (top assistant) are two of the best prosecutors I've ever worked with, and I've worked with probably 200 of them. If their signature is on that warrant, you can be assured they have something good on him."

Nate Karr reiterates that his brother cannot be guilty. States they had kid oriented Christmas gatherings and communications, and it would have been an unforgettable family scandal if he had been absent, ever. http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/us/AP-JonBenet-Ramsey.html?_r=1&oref=slogin

Noting that after 10 years that specific affirmative memories may be tough to come up with, I agree that absense of an "exceptional conduct" memory is just as good. The wife divorced Karr 5 or 6 years later and she would never forget being left alone with the kids at Christmas...It would have been in the divorce and custody petitions for sure. I had three kids and can now years later identify only a few of the Christmases as they grew up...but I would not forget if my spouse took of and left me with kids and presents etc...and would never have stopped complaining about it.

The DNA evidence in the JonBenet Ramsey case is solid, and there's a strong possibility it points to the killer, a self-proclaimed neutral observer and expert on DNA analysis said.

Precisely!

Not only would charging Karr based solely on his confession be a case killer in the future, it would forever damage the reputation of these attorneys.

If there is one thing attorney are it is egomaniacs. They don't like to be ridiculed by their peers and this would bring a butt load of it down if Karr was just a kook.

He either did it or knows who did. As for the Ramseys, I think they are just vain a-holes, to be honest that chose to put the interests of their reputation above that of finding their child's killer.

Rita Cosby (MSNBC) spoke with former classmate of JMK, Wendy Nichols. She claims that in the spring of '97, JMK was at her house helping her with her computer when a news report of the Ramsey case came on tv. She said it was like he "became enraged", talking about how incompetent they all were and then told her "he was there", and "he knew what happened".

I think you hit the nail on the head with that statement. I agree with you. If he is not the killer, I think he very well may know who is.

If he didn't do it, I want to know who told him the priviliged information about the body/crime scene. Someone did.

If that someone is an investigator or a Ramsey clod, they need to be arrested.

I still think he has some involvement if he wasn't the killer. Wouldn't it be interesting if somehow this implicated a wide web of people?
