The burnt, naked body found on a Brooklyn beach Sunday has been identified as a missing 14-year-old girl.

Law enforcement sources tell NBC 4 New York on Tuesday that the body found in Gerritsen Beach was Shaniesha Forbes, who had been missing since Friday.

Well, here it is May 10th. The summer season is approaching quickly and if you're in the camp of those who believe that the LISK is a seasonal visitor, it's once again time to pay close attention to the newspapers for articles mentioning missing women. Things have been static for quite awhile, let's see if anything goes down in the next few months.

Cops have arrested the boyfriend of a 14-year-old Brooklyn girl for allegedly killing her and dumping her body on Gerritsen Beach in January, sources told The Post.

Christian Ferdinand, 20, was busted Tuesday in Maine, where he fled after allegedly suffocating Shaniesha Forbes in January.

Detectives yesterday drove Ferdinand back to the 63rd Precinct station house in Brooklyn, where he allegedly admitted to killing Forbes after coming to believe she was pregnant.

Sorry typo. I have only one hand...broke one of my arms on 5/7 and am in a full arm cast for another 8 days...so lots of typos.

His facebook name is not the same as his given name though. It took me lots of time to find that Facebook page. After tons of searches, I did the obvious and found it by going through Shaneisha's contacts...

There is a long historical connection between Brooklyn & Maine.

Maine is an easy please to distribute drugs and to recruit young innocent girls to become prostitutes.

A 1999 MDEA investigation of the New York "ROZ" organization discovered young African American dealers who traveled from Brooklyn with crack cocaine, conducted retail drug transactions in Portland and Lewiston, Maine, and then returned to New York with the cash.
