I wonder if the necklace belongs to the killer.Do members of the Porcellian Club not wear pigs on chains etc?This would fit some of the profiles that the killer is well to do....

Somone killed this woman.

Put her remains in a bag.

Disposed the bag with the ramins inside.

BUT...did NOT remove her VERY distict necklace with a, probaly, 24k gold pig pendant!!!


That, IMO, point strongly to that :

The killer didn´t care about wheter the victim could be identifyed.

The killer and the victim did NOT know each other.

The killing was not motivated by robbery/stealing.

Or killer intentionally wanted to mislead by planting necklace. This necklace being lucky charm for Chinese suggests killer might have known this and he/she may be chinese.

If I am correct LI serial killer has been thought to be Asian correct?

simple DNA profile should show origin of this victim.

If this necklace was planted it was most likely bought online/stolen..maybe search on ebay for recent sales????

Both Killer and victim are chinese. Maybe removing somone's luck charm brings bad luck in chinese tradition and thats why killer did not remove it.

I have the same necklace. I'm not Asian, nor do I belong to any club.
I'm going on LE theory here - this is her zodiac sign and she was born in 71, 83 or 95.
Since they're not great at guessing that quickly on age at TOD nor how long a body has been at a location, it could be any of these.
Just thinking I guess based on why I wear the same necklace... could be wrong
My first thought actually was that it could be Jennifer Poole... but I believe she would have been identified by now and being they released specifically to the Asian community, I'd say they've at least figurd out she's Asian. I'm sure the ME could decipher that in a minute flat.

The oddest thing about this body in Lattingtown is the location.
Some of us went to the site the day after the body was found.
She was mere FEET from a home. Just across the road which was barely wide enough for a car. There were kid's bikes at the house, looked like they were not stored in any way, just "there".
Weird to think someone could have gotten away with this... and how those kids didn't find this much sooner - they're obviously there and so was she. It's too strange...

Nassau County police are investigating the discovery of a body in Roosevelt on Thursday, a police spokeswoman said.

The body was recovered at 8 p.m. in the east end of Frederick Avenue, the spokeswoman said.

The body has been removed to the medical examiner’s office, police said.

While looking for missing women, I came across the story of Hatice Corbacioglu. Hatice, a young woman living in Canada, fell in love with Riza Cosa (Turkish refugee living in Nassau Co) and traveled to Long Island to be with him. Unbeknownst to Corbacioglu, Cosa was married to Winsome Angela Perez. Perez's dead body was found near Cosa's workplace (Chase Bank on Wantagh Avenue). Cosa - who reportedly should not have been able to travel to Turkey - did just that, he fled to Turkey and later committed suicide. Hatrice has never been found.

How did this man get out of the country?!?
