Not entirely true.
If it can be verified that his ID matches the name of the person that the NY Post reported as living in jB's home then that would be acceptable.
I guess Algar would release that name to Trisha... certainly would be helpful.

I wasn't aware the the NY Post actually posted Drifty's name. You wouldn't happen to have a link, would you?
The name wasn't released but last year I confirmed with the journalist who wrote the article that he had the drifter's name. He also spoke with the drifter's mother. I think he would work with Tricia to keep the drifter's name a secret but at the same time verify if it is the same person who wrote the book.

Hey Seaslug just to let u kno when I spoke to the drifter he told me the Post called him for an interview the week before and the Post asked this drifter his name to confirm it was THAT drifter from the police report. This drifter told him his name and the Post reporter supposedly said something to the effect that oh ok u really are the drifter and then they began their interview. They supposedly spent two hours on the phone for the interview. Turned out however the reporter's editor would not let him run the story/interview unless the drifter used his real name and released his anonymity. Which he would not.
If you ever talk to that reporter Id love to know if he saw that police report with his own eyes and if the report clearly stated the aforementioned drifter was there "partying" the nite Shannan went missing.

Police are trying to identify the charred remains of a nude female body found in Marine Park today.
A 911 caller reported discovering the womans body in the nature preserve near Gerritsen and Lois avenues around 7:15 a.m., police said.
Responders found the victim in a sandy clearing surrounded by thick brush on the border of Marine Park and Gerritsen Beach. She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Doesn't sound like our guy. The body was somewhere where it was easily discovered and whoever did this seemingly didn't know much about burning a body. Sounds like amateur hour to me. Bet this guy's caught within days.

A Queens woman went missing last month. Her mother received a text message from her daughters phone. Her mother doesnt believe the text is from her daughter. In the text someone referred to her as mom. Her mother said her daughter NEVER called her mom. Only mommy. Her friend also received text. She doesnt think its her friend either. The text say she needs time to think. The police searched the marshes in Howard beach for her. Im sure LE has a POI in this case . I hope thats not her body.

This new female body was found ca 5 miles south/west of the skeletal remains found Dec 6th 2012 on the beach/marshy area of an island off Canarsie Pier in Jamaica Bay.
Those remains turned out to be an 18-year-old girl who went missing two years ago. The 18-year old's identity has still not been released and no cause of death have been revealed either, why?...we don´t know.
Anyone know if that 18.year old was found with clothes or not?

I do not think this guy just stopped killing. It is like an addiction to serial killers. Whether you are addicted to sex, drugs, money, alcohol, addrenaline, etc etc you just do not stop. You usually have to seek some kind of counseling or rehab. I think he is still killing, but just has a different area to drop bodies. It has been how many years??? 3-4 years since the last hooker (AC) was murdered. I really think he has a new dumping ground somewhere on the south shore of long island or a new disposal method. Sandy may have thrown a wrench into his gears but I do not think it stopped him. He is arrogant, and thinks he is smarter than everyone else (which he has proved correct SO FAR) so I think he is definitely killing again. His arrogance will be his eventual downfall. I said it a few days ago "Arrogance is potent". Have serial killers been known to change disposal methods?

I have for JT only disappeared July 2003, no day when she was last seen. Maybe someone else found something more down to a date?
Some SKs change their disposal methods early in their careers. They need a little time to figure out who they are, what they like and so on. Some, like Rifkin, start out with a very elaborate way to dispose of bodies and then go sloppy or use other, easier methods. And some, for example Bundy, have long enough careers to reach actually a spiraling down phase in which they get extremely sloppy, give up on clustered dump sites and so on.
I doubt, LISK is already in spiraling down. So chances are, he has one or more trophy yards built up in the meantime. Remember, he killed 1, then skipped a year, then killed one and then the following year two. That's pretty much the text book ramp up graph. If he followed that one, and nothing from the outside came in his way, he should be around at 4 per years now.
However, despite what everyone believes from TV show knowledge, there is a considerable number of SKs actually stopping. Most of them are in the field of 60-80% psychopaths, so persons with some psychopathic treats but not entirely psychopathic. You may have heard of the de-escalator type. Rare, but possible. Even more, it happens with sociopaths. The kill one or two, find out, it doesn't give them what they want (basically the reality can't keep up with the fantasy) and they stop.
Also known with sociopaths is stopping because they find something else, more interesting, more exciting. In this case they can lay low for decades and keep the urges under control just by reliving. Rader for example. Or, with a touch of being bored by an inept police, Zodiac. Now, this can also, after decades of hibernation lead to re-appearances with changed MO.
There are usually three lines of development:
beater->strangler->asphyxiator
Some of them stuck at the strangler level or switch forth and back between beater and strangler (as did Bundy). A special case was Freight Train, who kicked instead of beating
strangler->asphyxiator
Those start already out as stranglers, thus are more control- than power-oriented. An example would be Gacy.
stabber->cutter->dismemberer
Typical appearance is stabbing concentrated on primary and secondary sexual organs in early victims. Then development to cutting extremities and often cutting open bodies up to complete dismemberment.
Of course, there is another kind out there, greed- or mission-driven, who are in kill and disposal methods more open-minded because their limits are set by the main goal they try to achieve. So what I wrote refers rather to the mainstream.
