Breaking news in the LISK case

I think LISK reads AND posts (though, not neccesarily here). His need to feel superior drives everything he does in his secret fantasy life. His real life is something quite the opposite, I imagine. Emasculating.

How masculine can you be when you choke girls that weigh 100 lbs to begin with?

Be a man, go pick a fight with a Marine.

AMEN!!!!!!
If I could "thank" this post a trillion times I would.

I think mountain cat may have meant de-masculating.

Oops my bad. Mountain kat used the right word!

Sorry MK.

Skeletal remains, necklace, found near LI shore

OYSTER BAY, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police on Long Island say a woman walking her dog near the shores of Long Island Sound in the Town of Oyster Bay found human skeletal remains.

Nassau County Police released images of a gold colored necklace with a pig pendant, in hopes someone recognizes it, and can help explain a disturbing discovery.

Monday afternoon, police say a woman was walking her dog on this wind-swept and deserted beach.

When according to law enforcement sources, the dog sniffed out and dug up a bag, filled with bones.

The skeletal remains, cops say, are of a woman in her 20s wearing this necklace.

The discovery was made in the exclusive enclave of Lattingtown, more than 30 miles due north of another remote spot, Ocean Parkway.

It was there, starting in late 2010, that investigators unearthed the remains of 10 victims, eight of them women, dumped, they say, by at least one serial killer in the areas centered on Gilgo and Oak Beaches.

Some of those bodies were reportedly wrapped in burlap, others in plastic garbage bags.

Investigators have not publicly connected the Ocean Parkway case with Monday's discovery in Lattingtown; first they have to identify the victim found there.

And they hope the pictures of this jewelry can jog someone's memory and get them the name they desperately need.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or the Homicide Squad at 516-573-7789.

Oh wow...

First two thoughts:

- That's a heckuva place to be walking your dog alone at night...and yikes for the woman who found that...don't think I would ever sleep again

- Have not been following the case, but think this may provide a big break

Hoping...

I wonder if they are planning to do a search like they did on Gilgo...

Probably not. Unless the victim isn't a prostitute.

Is it possible, can it be the new dumpsite has been found??? I have to wonder about the bag, whether it's burlap or plastic, LISK or Manorville. Or maybe neither.

Guess we wait and see what comes up, if this woman is identified. With that we will find out what she does for a living and go from there.

We're going to have alot of questions that go unanswered for awhile, I'll bet. :banghead:

Wonder if this could be Roxanne Benanti. :waitasec: No real reason, other than I always felt that she fit LISK's "type" to a T.

Here is a photo of the necklace found with the remains;

I recognize this golden necklace. Chinese women wear them all of the time. It has some sort of meaning of luck and prosperity or something along those lines.

100% I guarantee you that most likely this set of bones was not driven to this beach. That would leave it floating in from the strong winds from the North (like today). Every surrounding village including where the remains were found have very strong local police departments that are in addition to the Nassau County police. It is also almost impossible to drive to that location without passing dozens of homes with their own private security cameras as well as dozens of traffic cams. Parking or even stopping a car any place near that stretch of beach is also impossible without someone taking notice. Outsiders simply cannot visit that area without detection.

We are looking to match these remains that were found with a missing Chinese woman from the Bronx, Queens, Westchester or Connecticut.
