Its funny, I don't think I talk funny until I hear someone from NC speak. Everyone sounds so country..or southern depending on how you look at it. Durham is the cityfolk to us Eastern NC'ers.

So did I catch this right.... one officer said he saw Raven come up the hall to answer the door and one saw him come down the stairs to answer the door?

Anyone else find it odd that they don't stand for the jury? This is the first I have ever seen that. :waitasec:

It is strange, the attorneys stay seated to question the witnesses as well.

Does anyone know how long this trial is predicted to go? At this rate we might get verdict before the Arias one! Janet was a beautiful woman.

I've been doing some reading on this since seeing the post in the Jodi Arias thread.
I can't believe it took so long to charge him and that he remarried in the meantime.

He is creepy! Does he always wear glasses too?
So glad he is finally here to stand trial, hope he gets convicted.

This morning I believe the judge said 2-3 weeks, when he was asking if there were any objections to the jurors having notebooks available.

I know, and she has some not so nice things to say about him. She was afraid of him.

Did I just see a swastika tattoo on the inside of RA's right wrist?

Yuck, East -- I didn't even notice his wrist, but I will watch more closely now. Prison ink?? Or what? No surprise, really, but reprehensible IMO.

Now I'm getting warmer..

.. hotter, actually. What a %#)(&*&* he is.

I think Raven has been wearing glasses for a while now. The girl that he married after Janet wised up pretty quick and got away from him. Go Vanessa!!

It appears the glasses have only shown up after his arrest.
I haven't seen any photos of him in glasses prior to court appearances.

It is so nice that jail provides an opportunity for defendants to realize how bad their eyesight is.
