Glow, may I ask you a question?.
Truly you may always ask anything you like. And I for my part will always respond to anything that is posted in the spirit of respect and sharing thoughts
In the FLDS threads, you defended the fact that an eight-year-old was forcibly married, and then forcibly married again at age twelve to the sixty-five-year-old creep who murdered her first *husband*
No. I never did that. I doubt anyone else did either.
Now... are you saying that a girl-child who is still being breastfed is ready to be married off?
No
Understanding is key. Help me understand here. I believe every woman has the right to decide what to do witrh her own body, and that every child has the right to be completely emancipated as an adult in her own right, without her parents deciding her fate for her.
I too believe that a woman has the right to decide what to do with her own body. There are of course conditions on this. If a young healthy woman was attempting to jump off a high bridge I would attempt to stop her. I do not believe that children should be "emancipated" unless there is no parent willing to do their job OR the parent is willing and the child is just resistant to the extreme. Emancipation is an extremely drastic and sad thing for a young woman. It is an act of desperation on all sides.
What do you think about women's rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?.
I think that promoting that is my lifes purpose.
TIA.
You're welcome :blowkiss:
