The mother of a British holidaymaker who vanished in Sardinia says she is still "living in limbo" five months after her son disappeared.

Michael Frison, 25, from Chard, Somerset, went missing in the northern part of the Italian island on 13 July.

I hope he's alive and well (albeit maybe confused?) and will be found soon. It's so concerning that a year has passed, though, because he would have needed medical attention if he was that badly dehydrated when he went missing, IMO. I wish authorities would try again with some searches in the area where he went missing.

Niomi Orlandini was the last person to see Michael before he disappeared on the 13th July 2024 in Sardinia. Michael's mother says there had been very strange messages between the two. Michael's mother said Niomi left the island without cooperating with the police and she has not responded to attempts to trace her since then.
