I feel desperately sorry for Michael's mum who is really working tirelessly to keep his case alive and has not had any help from the family of the woman he was with before he disappeared.

The mother of a British holidaymaker who vanished in Sardinia says she is still "living in limbo" five months after her son disappeared.

Michael Frison, 25, from Chard, Somerset, went missing in the northern part of the Italian island on 13 July.

I hope he's alive and well (albeit maybe confused?) and will be found soon. It's so concerning that a year has passed, though, because he would have needed medical attention if he was that badly dehydrated when he went missing, IMO. I wish authorities would try again with some searches in the area where he went missing.
