It's very faux paus to send complete sentences from a keyboard. That's what I was told when I did that. I still needed to abreviate for the courtesy of the phone user retrieving the msg. But it sure will be interesting to find out who sent that msg.

My cell saves date/time for calls and texts. I assume this phone does too. If it was actually sent in Sept the saved text would show that... but Drew himself could have sent that back in Sept.

I just read this on the Fox News site and immediately thought that DP and Brodsky are up to it again. The two letters didn't seem convincing, so they're trying a new tactic. With the media quiet now on the case, and nothing from the grand jury, they're building some "reasonable doubt."

You know, I really believe JAB is a publicity hound. Think of the timing of his releasing info. DrewP allegedly found this info in Dec. 20 and allegedly turned it over to LE. Things are quiet media wise, DrewP allegedly goes to Fla. he returns and things things are still quiet.

JAB goes to media with the letter story- but never mentions the text, and things get quiet again. Then JAB comes out with the text story. I believe JAB is seeking the publicity at the expense of his client, DrewP.

It was probably just an old cell and he checked it to see if the message was still there to use to his advantage. Seems he has that kind of attitude towards women anyway (using 'my love' and 'bi!ch' interchangeably). He's repulsive.

He could have changed the sim card himself too... I just have a feeling he knew that msg was there because he sent it.... or rather that he hoped it was still there. Must have taken him awhile to find it.

Let's not forget about the anonymous phones you can buy at WalMart. If Drew knew Stacy was about to leave him, he may have been setting her up to be an "unfit" mother in order to be able to keep the kids and avoid child support. Perhaps it was plan "A" until he had to resort to plan "B." I put nothing past him and a man who would call breast implants on his wife a "boob job" and refer to it as a "repair" on national TV would use the kind of degrading language in that text message ("riding" and "bronco").

I have no doubt that Drew Peterson is responsible for that text message.

LOL! Entertainment (or rather, CRIMEtainment) at it's best! I don't know why so many are taking this not-really-a-case-yet so very personal. It's clear that television personalities and wish-I-were-better attorneys aren't, and are only interested in their own fame and fortune. Mr. Drew Peterson is affording their bread 'n butter. At this point, I'm no longer interested in any TV broadcasts unless they are LE-inspired with real evidence/information. Show me there was a crime committed and let's have an arrest! Anything else is nothing more than we are doing right here. The difference is, we're not making $1m/year for discussing what's already been discussed, ad nauseum.

I agree he's repulsive. Being repulsive is, IMO, hardly indicative of being a rocket scientist. I feel many give this man way more brain power credit than he deserves or could ever hope to have. (And yah, I know I've said this before. But then, I don't see anyone else not repeating themselves at this point in the not-really-a-case-so-far, either.)

To me, Greta strives for that. Nancy Grace, the former prosecutor, doesn't strive for that, although she usually says what I'm thinking (when she's right). ROFL

I think you're right on target. Brodsky is seeking to build a reputation on this case. But, he doesn't realize he's out of his league on this. So far everything he's done is laughable. He's not what someone would call a high profile criminal defense attorney. When DP is charged, either with the death of Kathleen or Stacy, DP is likely to drop Brodsky if he can get a better defense attorney. He's probably hoping he can get someone like Geragos.

I think Drew Peterson is gross. I can't understand what Stacy ever saw in that pitiful old man. Seeing a picture of them together is like looking at a father and daughter. It's so repulsive. I wouldn't blame her if she realized her mistake and was looking at younger men. I would have hated sleeping with that old goat.

The attorney is just as pitiful. He makes a fool of himself everytime he goes on tv. All of the junk they are trying to peddle is a bunch of bs. Drew says that his son doesn't know how to text message and then turns around and says "I was scrolling through my son's text messages........." If the boy doesn't know how to text why would he be recieving messages??? That doesn't even make any sense.

I hope LE can trace that text message back to Drew Peterson. I think he knows that he is close to an arrest so he is really trying to show that Stacy ran off with another man. I doubt if the girl had time to breathe much less bed hoping. I hope Peterson does hire Garagos..."Hollywood" cause his track record is called "San Quenton."

If they can get into areas where other people don't have the expertise...does this mean it could have been actually "planted"? They would know that it is impossible to trace through the website possibly. They would have the knowledge to keep it from being tracked, too. Just a thought.

It is not impossible to trace the message through the website. Nothing sent over the Internet is anonymous. People may think it is, but it's not.

If it was sent through the site, then Sprint/Nextel will have a record of the IP address (network address) and MAC address (unique to the network card INSIDE the computer) of the computer that sent it.

LE can then take the MAC address and determine the manufacturer and/or distributor of the PC, which can pinpoint WHOM the PC was sold to. On a side note, there is software available that claims to change or mask the MAC address, but there are other methods that can be used to still find out the owner of the PC even if the MAC address has been spoofed!

Joel Brodsky is on Greta tonight, and he played a voice mail message that was on either DP's cell phone or on JB's cell phone. It's a woman's voice and she says that she saw Stacy again - this time near the Dream Center in Peoria, Ill. It was hard to hear the phone message, but I think I heard that the Dream Center is either a womans shelter or near the womans shelter. JB says it's the person in Peoria who wrote the letter DP received around Thanksgiving.

Secondly..........Joel Brodsky was a local Illinois radio talk show today and made arrangements with the show host to have a contest - "Win a Date With Drew Peterson" contest. The contest begins tomorrow morning on the radio show and ends when DP chooses the winner.

Joel Brodsky told Greta there's nothing wrong with what he's doing - DP is a man who's wife left him, and instead of sitting around and brooding about it, he getting on with his life. Joel thought his idea of a win a date contest was a good idea.
