And her car was found ditched that morning on the 12th .... seems it was ditched in a panic that they were about to be located .. could anyone confirm how on star would notify the driver of the car if the car was tryin to be located?... also back window down. Maybe she had child lock or whoever child locked it as whoever sat there tried to roll down window to open from outside and jump out

Got it. Now in wonder if AM and JR were in the car when those calls were being made [emoji20]I can't confirm but FWIW, I would assume that there is no indication made to or through the vehicle that it's being tracked. I searched OnStar site and all it said was that it uses several satellite GPS to pinpoint the exact location. I could be wrong but I think when they say they tried emergency calls to OnStar it's more like through OnStar, meaning that they call OnStar and then the company connects them to the vehicle like a phone call via the speakers.

I have to believe that LE has information they aren't releasing, especially regarding Jonathan's whereabouts earlier in the day. Specifically who he was with. If not, it's pretty disheartening that they can't figure that information out. I have a gut feeling that who he was with/where he was has a huge role in this case.
I can't remember if this was already mentioned but looks like Riverside County Sheriffs Dept has taken over the case according to KMIR.

I noticed that too. Wonder if its protocol orOh wow, I just looked back at this article and realized that it's not only RCSD but specifically their Central Homicide Unit that is taking over. Hmmm....

Hello, everyone. I'm a new comer onto your community. Thank you for being a matured civil crowd when it comes to discussing this case. I've been following this case since it broke out on the 13th. My grandmother was really ill the month before and stayed ill till she passed recently, and this case became somewhat of a distraction from it all. So during this whole time I've researched the case extensively, I've monitored consistently on the find Audrey Moran page on facebook. I have a ton of mental notes, such as the timeline of events according to news sources, police statements, <modsnip>. I've caught up with the thread and I must simply say, that all of you are great thinkers, very thorough in your thoughts and theories. I've also paid attention to the locals from both Brawley and Coachella, thank you for that information. Everything is vital to finding someone, from the time and weather of when they disappeared to the what was the last thing they said to a person prior to their disappearance. I will be posting again with my observations and theories. <modsnip> Well everyone, thank you for welcoming me aboard. Let's see if we can collectively find them.

That theory sounds reachableHello again.
<modsnip>
Then there's the infamous mysterious friends of JR, no one knows who they are or perhaps they don't want to say who they are for reasons that could result in death or bodily harm. Theory, is that JR perhaps did have some illicit business in Brawley, recent searches show that Brawley is not the "old man" area someone claimed it to be. The city has been rated in violent crime and property crime, but with the area around it being so widely opened and lonely, kind of sets it up for crimes being committed outside the city. Calexico, not to far from Brawley is also another border town that is not so nice.
So, let's play this theory out, JR contacts AM, the rendezvous is within the coachella valley, the party with JR betrays JR and takes AM and JR into AMs vehicle, JR might've disclosed the information of AM's sister knowing of their intended whereabouts, and the party sends the picture to the sister, just to throw off any questioning about AM's well being for the night. They hold them hostage for a day while they clear out the smoke in their planning, JR and AM are placed in AM's car up to the drop point. JR and AM are forced into a waiting vehicle and thus, they disappear never to be heard from again. The dog probably picked up JRs scent because he could've been sweating or leaving bodily fluids that AM did not. Maybe that's why there's nothing to trace AM there. I understand JR is a big guy, but when you're getting into a fight with multiple people, you take the big one first, the rest are then easier.
