information i now have suggests barbara has never had a cellphone. so suggestions it was in robbies bag are probably wrong.

also worth noting, a 360 photo and a panorama photo from a cellphone or digital camera are quite different.

Can you verify from your dad if phone calls he got from your Aunt, his sister , always came from the same cell number and was it a different cell number when he called to let him know she was missing?edit to add. Hows your dad doing?

Completely agree. Edit to add: one could theoretically rotate on axis 360 and get a full 360 panoramic photo. But it still differs from a true “360”

When I watched RT's first interview I thought he was sincere. In the second interview I had my doubts. Not because of the "prime suspect" and "deceptive" comments but because of his mannerisms. Did anyone notice how clean the truck and camper were? Even the tires were spotless.

Here's the thing: If LE believed there was a drug-trafficking/Herbal Life connection, they would NOT be spending all these resources searching for BT in the desert - nor would LE be telling ANYONE (even a close family member) that they were investigating that angle. If anyone claims that LE, the DEA, or the FBI told them that, they're not being truthful.

Did she and her current husband have children together? I understood someone to mention that it was the Police who found her son's cell phone number on Barbara's phone, but now I"m seeing she didn't have a cell phone? Which story is true? She is a very lovely woman.

I believe it was misunderstood by others that you were alluding to the extended family being interviewed (that's what I thought you meant) - not that extended family was in photos.

Unless they were setting it up that she might have been lost and then died of thirst, etc.

Hypothetically speaking, someone may have originally planned to set up the story like that, but then began getting nervous about them finding her too fast, before more forensics were destroyed----so began deflecting and saying she was probably abducted at the highway. ?

There's a reason why there have been such concentrated searches in that area for Barbara.

It's because LE believes that's where she went missing.

I saw that golden dog in the video - while the other dogs tried to find the scent, that golden dog was all over it.

I know dogs - that golden retriever was hot on BT's scent. I've watched my daughter's yellow retriever dog track - it looks just like that.

I don't care what anyone says about tracking dogs not being able to track in the desert heat - I think that dog had picked up on and was following BT's scent.

I don’t know when the trip was scheduled for but I cannot imagine going on a hiking/camping trip when there is so much packing and preparation needed for going overseas. Passport, ID’s, meds, clothing to be packed; house to be left clean etc. Plus the older you get, (myself anyway), the less energy you have to get all this done. And that desert heat must be draining.

It's not uncommon for LE to tell family to not participate in ground searches. They don't want family to find the decomposed remains of a deceased loved one. It can be quite traumatic.

That did happen here in Sacramento a couple of years ago when Linnea Lomax's mother discovered her dead daughter.

But if LE was investigating you because you were the last person she was with prior to disappearing. I doubt they would allow you to stay in the area they are searching, have access to their maps, or cook for them. So I think that is an unfair way to judge RT.
