I'm still convinced D4vd was set up. He is living his dream life... Why would he kill someone and leave the body in his own car? There is an ocean, mountains and a desert. Dozens of places where he could have disposed of the body... It doesn't make any sense.

He would have to be very very dumb to get rid of the body of a minor girl he was associated with in this manner. As you say, there are just so very many other ways to dispose of a body without tying it directly to yourself.

Would a viral Tiktok rapper really be the level of rich where he has a crew that drives his cars (if that's even a thing)? The last venue he played at holds 1,150 people. I'm sure he does OK, but that's pretty far from OK.

Honestly I'm not suspecting this guy at all. His tour dates/locations show that he would've been halfway across the country. No way he goes home to LA (or NY) when he has a day between Midwest shows. I'm sure they've already determined via surveillance that it wasn't him that parked the car. The window of time from which the car could've been stolen without his knowledge was huge.

He would have been far better off to dump the body somewhere...anywhere and not leave it in an abandoned car registered to him. Maybe D4VD had multiple cars and this one was for one of his handler's uses.

Otherwise, this makes absolutely no sense.

I wonder if one of his handlers did this for him and will be on surveillance video driving the car. I'm sure they will be decked out in a hoodie and mask.

This is still very sloppy if he is actually involved.

Just to add to your thoughts here, another thought I had was that possibly he trusted someone to dispose of her for him and they either got scared or maybe even were horrified and left her in this way so she would be found, knowing he would be exposed.

It seems like nobody was even looking for her in the past year, so it's probably safe to assume that whoever did this to Celeste just probably thought they would have infinite time to dispose of her body because nobody would be looking for her.

Possibly a dumb question, but can Teslas be compacted/melted down in the same way as conventional cars? I thought their electrical components (in particular their batteries) might make that impossible.

On Wednesday night, a house close to where the Tesla was abandoned was searched.

A dozen LAPD investigators took a computer and other items from a Hollywood home. Police spent hours at the home on Doheny Place, placing several evidence bags into an SUV, but they wouldn't say if or how it was connected to the Tesla.

Several homeowners say they remember seeing that distinct Tesla for a while - first parked in front of the house police searched, then at two different spots on the street.

The proximity of the residence to the area(s) where witnesses describe seeing the Tesla parked over the period of months make me think this home is related to someone associated with Mr. Burke and who had access to his vehicle on a regular basis. Either the artist himself, or a close associate. JMO this search is most assuredly related to this case, despite LE's lack of confirmation.

I want to know who owns/lives at that residence and what their relationship (if any) is to Burke, Celeste, or any known associate of either.

It seems like people knew where she was and who she was with but were paid off by him. Poor girl was surrounded by people with no conscience.

I agree, she has been "missing" to family and authorities since April 2024 (and last heard from May 2024) but she hasn't been dead that long. IMO we will learn she was killed sometime in July or early August of this year.

Also agree his "people" say he's been cooperating. LE said he was cooperating earlier on in this case but haven't made any statements about his state of cooperation or status as a POI or not since prior to the victim being officially ID'd as Celeste.

But I remain on the fence as to whether he or someone closely associated with he and the victim is responsible for her death.

This new info is disturbing. The level of parasocial commitment alone can be so deep in kids this age -- of of ours was in deep with Kanye (not Ye) and their heart broke with every new sordid revelation, like a close friend had crossed over in the world of the cruel and was lost to him.

Hard to resist the lure of life on tour with an up and coming artist but Celeste seems to have been sooooo young when it began, and cannot have been in control of much of it.

Glad at least to see the case moving forward. Too many never get the attention they deserve.
