This new info is disturbing. The level of parasocial commitment alone can be so deep in kids this age -- of of ours was in deep with Kanye (not Ye) and their heart broke with every new sordid revelation, like a close friend had crossed over in the world of the cruel and was lost to him.

Hard to resist the lure of life on tour with an up and coming artist but Celeste seems to have been sooooo young when it began, and cannot have been in control of much of it.

Glad at least to see the case moving forward. Too many never get the attention they deserve.

Just a bizarre thought about killers we have sleuthed in the past......The desire to revisit/relive the crime. And that is why she was found dismembered. It was a fulfillment of the killer's "addiction" and homicidal fantasies. With that in mind, it doesn't surprise me "the killer" would keep her remains close by in order to revisit/relive his obsession. Oh wow, I think I just figured this out..,. the "special container" the killer placed her body in wasn't suppose to leak. But when a vehicle is towed whether on a flatbed or by rear wheels....it is subject to a steep angle for loading...thereby causing some biological material to spill over the sides of the container.....The killer wasn't planning on that. In my opinion, of course.

Just to clarify, the lid of the container may also have slid off in the process of towing. Don't think I am allowed to link a video of how a Tesla is towed? I'm going to err on the side of caution and encourage your own research on that process. ...if done correctly.

News reported that officers were called on monday (9/8) and that the car had been impounded for a couple of days, so probably around friday (9/5) but haven't found a precise date yet. LAPD finds body inside impounded Tesla that's registered to singer D4vd

he’s 20 years old (born in march 2005), he was 6,5 years older than celeste. when they started talking online she was 11 and he was around 17.

I agree, she has been "missing" to family and authorities since April 2024 (and last heard from May 2024) but she hasn't been dead that long. IMO we will learn she was killed sometime in July or early August of this year.

Also agree his "people" say he's been cooperating. LE said he was cooperating earlier on in this case but haven't made any statements about his state of cooperation or status as a POI or not since prior to the victim being officially ID'd as Celeste.

But I remain on the fence as to whether he or someone closely associated with he and the victim is responsible for her death.

I posted the link before but it was actually his team that said he was cooperating. Not LE.

I read somewhere the day LE identified the car as belonging to Burke that THEY said he was cooperating. But I am at work and don't have time to go find a link to support that so you are welcome to believe it or not. you are correct that recent articles say his handlers claim he is cooperating with authorities.

However, we appear to both agree on the fact that LE have been notably silent as to his level of cooperation and his status as a potential POI or suspect since they confirmed the victim's identity.

If the true that D4vd preyed on, abused, abducted and murdered CR are true then it is even more heartbreaking because according to MR they had reached out to authorities about the relationship but couldn’t get help.

Additionally, CR called home a month after she ran away in April 2024. Perhaps the call could have been tracked in order to locate CR and that, plus an earlier response by LE could have saved her life. Also, CR was seen smiling, giggling and not in duress at a yard sale during the time she was considered missing which indicates to me there may have been opportunities to intervene and reach out to her and get her to safety without the threat of her groomer assaulting, coercing or intimidating her.

Also since MR told the Riverside police about CR and D4vd did they also check any of D4vd’s known addresses or locations for her or collaborate with LAPD in their search for her after she ran away? When news about a young woman’s remains were found in D4vd’s car did alarm bells go off because they recalled investigating his relationship with CR? Did they inform the LA investigators about CR and that the family are concerned that she was in danger and being groomed by the singer who likely encouraged her to run away from them and cause further estrangement? I would like to give them benefit of the doubt but then why did the LAPD have difficulty reaching CR’s family? Why did her mother contact TMZ and not LAPD (is because she felt more comfortable with them or would listen to her more?) and why was it TMZ, and not Riverside LE, that had to be the ones to inform LAPD of CR and her mother when there was a whole missing person’s case on LR?

If hypothetically D4vd did groom, assault and abduct and is the lured her into running away from her family I do wonder where did she stay, who else knew and what did he do when started touring abroad? It is already horrifying enough thinking of someone preying on and taking your child across county and even state lines? But taking her abroad or on international travel? That hopefully wouldn’t be possible, especially with the potential of breaking so many human trafficking and child abduction laws in place, a missing person’s case open on her and likely her lack of a passport. Perhaps, actually the airport would be the place to separate them, rescue and remove her from that situation and arrest or catch the perp? Otherwise wouldn’t these barriers mean fortunately she would have to go home or did someone else assist him in even getting those roadblocks covered so that sadly the cycle of harm and abuse would go on.
