A private eye is revealing more details in the case of missing California teen Celeste Rivas -- whose dismembered body was found in a car owned by singer D4vd earlier this month -- and we're getting a good look at the Tesla as police first encountered it.

How much security (fencing, cameras, etc.) is there at the impound lots? Just wondering if there is any thought that something happened after the tow- if that would even be possible. (BTW, I think that some one up thread asked if the towing could have disturbed the body wrapping and allowed the odor to escape.)

What are the chances that David was unaware of Celeste's death? If they were a couple, I don't imagine them being out of touch for weeks. If he was on tour and never heard from her, wouldn't he be alarmed? Unless they were on a break or broken up. Her close friends (if she had any) would know when she stopped responding to messages, although someone could pretend to be her.

JMO but it is really hard for me to believe people could have looked at CR and not know she was still a kid. I mean she was only 13. Just think in general how different a kid’s voice, physical development and shape, personality, behavior, how they talk, interact, carry and express themselves and such and compare it to how it changes and evolves only a few years later when they around 17 to 19 years of age and then does so again as are entering the phase of early young adulthood in their early 20s. I get that sometimes and for multiple that there are kids that seem more mature or grown than others or had to grew up fast while young and I get that makeup and clothes help and such but even with all those circumstances and factors in play they can only do so much. There is a reason why she had so many fake IDs, as alleged by LE, and it was because it obvious to anyone who looked at them and looked at her that she was underage.

IMO too in that case red flags should have been raised if any man or adult individual indicated they were “in a relationship” or “dating” CR because she was clearly only a kid and thus illegal, disgusting and just wrong. At that age should have been safe at home, at school or with her friends and family. If anyone saw her at the club or noticed that she attended a lot of late night parties where a lot of drinking and stuff were going on like D4vd’s friends allege, among guests that were clearly all older than her then how did she not stick out to them like a sore thumb or they not think to themselves “that kid does not belong here”?

JMO and perhaps this is my own biased from my experiences working with kids and teenagers and thinking of myself, my friends, siblings and cousins currently around CR’s age.

It's been over two weeks since she was found.

Sure, this could be because he's been advised not to by his lawyer (assuming he's likely retained one and/or already had one). But as far as I'm aware, there's not even a statement on his behalf?

He's not even officially a POI (yet).

Tour dates cancelled. Regular social media activity comes to an abrupt halt. A broken lease on the LA property he resided at for over a year.

The silence is deafening.

Do we know when Celeste first ran away? I think this last time was the 3rd? We know he was allegedly grooming her at 11, 4 years ago. BTW, he also released a song titled "Runaway" in Dec 2021.

The earliest date I have seen was February 14th, 2024 based on Missing Person’s poster shown on a news segment by NBC LA.

IMO the only way we will know D4vd’s involvement, if any at all, is through phone activity. I wonder where Celeste’s phone is!

For example, if he was on tour the whole time messaging & texting her, and then immediately stopped around her time of death, this is an indication he at LEAST was aware she was dead. Even if he didn’t physically do it.

Also will be plenty of evidence of possible arguments, how close they were, who else was involved in their relationship, etc.

How hard is it to get a warrant to search his phone? MOO

How can a crime NOT have been committed? I get that maybe she died by accident/overdose/natural causes, but at the risk of sounding too graphic, she didn't interfere with her own corpse, dismember herself, put her body parts into a bag and then into a trunk/boot of a Tesla (I refuse to use the F word in relation to the front trunk). Someone did that to her, so interfering with a corpse for starters is one crime that comes to mind. There was at least one crime committed here, but likely many. MOO

EDITED TO ADD: If she died, and wasn't murdered, the people around her now have a dilemma. If everyone believed her to be an adult, and she died naturally (after an illness, some form of hereditary medical problem etc with no sign of illegal drinking/drug use) then they would likely call the police. However, if they knew her to be an underage runaway, calling the police is the last thing you do. So maybe the death was innocent enough, but the cover-up, not so much.

Who does he know that uses his car while on tour? And since the story been out no response? Either it was a group that did and he know it or I understand the no stitch rule but come on he taking the heat for this if he knows he need to say something. If he did do it what a waste of his career. If not he should be helping her family found out who did it. Maybe its someone else's and he registered it for them? if that's the case he knows who it is.

It's not unusual to me that he hasn't issued a statement. He's got far bigger problems to be worried about right now than PR. If he still has a career at the end of this, he can issue a statement then.

The "other" Celeste has straight hair in all the videos and photos we've seen of her. I personally think the girl on the balcony looks a LOT like Celeste Rivas, regardless of what a "source" says. Bear in mind the pic on the right was released roughly when she ran away about 18 months ago, making her no more than about 13 1/2. Teenagers change a lot in 18 months, especially when given free rein to do, wear, look whatever they like.

Also, why has this mystery female not come forward to say it was her? If she does exist, maybe she doesn't want to get caught up in the drama, or maybe she too was underage. Was this an adult only gig?

I agree. At this point, I take D4vd's silence and hiding to mean he's done something illegal or shameful, even if not murder. Could be a pedo crime, harboring a runaway, child endangerment, defiling a corpse, concealing a death, etc. He knew something happened to her. moo

What about d4vd's manager, Josh Marshall? I just started following this case so please forgive me if this has been covered. The manager lived in the house and had access to the Tesla, I'm sure, but I cannot find any information about him being questioned or anything. TIA

Did anyone else look at the photos of the car before it was towed? I'm curious how it got that damage to the rear bumper and behind the front wheels... Long enough ago for dust to settle - any idea how long that takes in that neighborhood? I know on a windy day, things can get covered pretty quickly.
